Only been here twice but pretty good experiences each time. Spacious, nice sleeper couch in room. Room service was pretty good too. Price is pretty fair

This is a great hotel for business travelers. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious, providing you plenty of room to work, relax and sleep. I love having the couch in the room, it adds a touch of home to my business trips.

Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus i like the fact that they have a restaurant and a bar which focuses on healthy eating. The prices is more reasonable then most other hotels that serve food, but portions are also small.  This is fine with me cause i am not a big eater. If you are though, you might want to order a side or even a second meal.

Every time i stay here for breakfast  i get the egg white sandwich, which is very good. Its enough to fill me up and get me going on my day. For dinner on my last time i at dinner here for the first time. I decided to have the  salmon. This was also very good. I really enjoyed the potatoes served with it and the side of vegetables. It is a real plus to find healthy food when you travel especially in your hotel.

I will definitely stay here again on my next business travels.

I snagged a great deal here on priceline.  Very nice hotel, well appointed, clean rooms and friendly staff.

The food is surprisingly good as well.

    Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel last week while I was attending a training class in the area.  I really loved the room;  it was like a cozy little studio apartment with hardwood floors and a fairly large sectional sofa.  It had a cool Kohler sink, too.  I wish I would have taken a picture of it.  The Aveda soaps and shampoo & conditioner were a nice touch, too.

The decor of the whole place was kind of odd.  The hotel's logo is a nautilus shell, so that would explain the sea anemone photos in the hallways, but what is up with the pictures of giant WHEAT on the elevator doors in the lobby?  Oh, on one wall of my room there was wallpaper of giant cable knit sweater.  Weird.

The hotel staff was very nice, and they even allowed me to leave my luggage there the morning I checked out at no charge (I've been charged up to $20 before for that service).  Also, I forgot my cell phone charger there and didn't realize it until the day I left, and they made sure they were able to track it down before I left the area so I could pick it up before I went to the airport.

Having grown up in the area, I still have a lot of relatives whose house I could stay at when I visit, but if I didn't have that luxury, I would definitely go back to Hotel Indigo.

I've stayed at the Indigo twice now. Anytime I have work up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, I will probably choose this hotel. Here's why, the rooms are really nice, they're suites with a comfy sofa, Flat screen TV and hard wood floors. I felt very comfortable there. Also, the wireless internet is free. Next, this hotel is affiliated with the Holiday Inn/Intercontinental Hotel points program (priority club). I found I had points to use and this hotel was significantly less points to book a room than others in the area.
A nice pod style coffee maker in the room too.
And if you're hungry, you have plenty of choices a block away in the Hawthorn MegaMall.

I'll be honest upfront, this review is based entirely on the decor. The entire aestetic is fresh and modern, and features an aquatic theme and color palette. The furniture and setup of the rooms is very comfortable and inviting, and the rates are very reasonable.
