This place is great! Stayed here twice in last couple of years and has not changed a bit. Affordable rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast, free wifi wireless internet and located on the main strip of town.
I am not sure if there are other hotels in the town, but its not necessary to keep looking. Ask if the hostel rooms are open, you can reserve 2 beds and get the whole room to yourselves for a great price.
To top off the visit, the hotel allowed us to leave our rental car in their parking lot while we went on a 3 day Waipio Valley hike (it usually costs $15/night but they let us park for free!!). Shhhhh don't tell too many people or else the parking lot will be full.
