Hotel Casa 425
5 reviews for Hotel Casa 425
Our family stayed at Casa 425 for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel opened recently so things are new and clean.
The staff was great to deal with. The hotel is built around a courtyard which has fire pits and seating areas. There is a nice bar off the lobby that also serves patrons in the courtyard. The guest rooms are stylish and quite nice though not overly roomy.
Maybe the best feature of the hotel is its location in the Claremont village. From the hotel, there is shopping, a movie theater, and many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.
The only negative comment we have is that they really jacked up the room rates for the weekend of college graduation for the Claremont schools. I think that other hotels in the area also do the same thing.
I love boutique hotels and it's unfortunate that Inland Empire doesn't have any....until I heard about this little Gem!!!
I made an appointment to meet with the manager to promote and introduce my business and she was absolutely a delight to chat with!! The environment is so chic and fabulous, industrial but homey and I can't wait till I design an event or wedding in this venue.
ATTENTION: Bride-to-be, check this place out when scouting for a wedding venue...if you are looking for something different and a modern fete...this is the place to be!
this is courtesy of my MIL, who stayed here with my FIL last week for 6 nights. first, the good:
*hip, mod decor w/awesome firepits filled w/glass crystals
*walking distance to claremont village and lots of great shops and eats.
*really really REALLY good orange juice (what can i say? that is what she said).
*beds are AWESOME.
the bad:
*the rooms face the courtyard, which stays open until 11pm. the rooms are reasonably soundproofed, but still there is some noise that seeps through and it can be a little perturbing to have a crowd immediately in front of your doorstep if you're on the ground floor (which they were). the rooms that face the back alley are even worse b/c they have both the noise from the courtyard and the pub next door.
*service is bizarre. they arrived from a 10.30pm flight on a tuesday night. the lobby doors were locked with a note that said they would begin 24 hour front desk service on thursday. there was an envelope with note telling my FIL where their room was and where the key was stashed. then he had to walk across and down the street to park his car in the structure after a 6 hour flight and just wanting to go to bed. not exactly the welcome they were hoping for.
*the decor is minimalist, as are the amenities. there is no pool. there are 2 tiny hooks in the showering area and no table, so not alot of options in terms of where to put your clothes and things.
bottom line, if you don't care about a pool, like the hip cool vibe, and don't mind possibly being the only patrons STAYING in the hotel (and the lack of service that might come with it), then you'll probably like it. personally, i think it's WAYYYYY overpriced and the only thing keeping this place open is the bar/lounge, graduation weekend and potential students visiting. too bad b/c it's beautiful and there's so much potential.
Casa 425 is a beautiful, modern boutique hotel in the new village expansion project in Claremont.
While I haven't stayed here the courtyard is lovely. I'd love to sit here on a spring afternoon, under the flowing curtains drinking a glass of white wine next to the fire pit. Nice see-through fireplace in the lobby separating the bar from the front desk. Comfortable lounge area with a limited small-plates menu if you're too early to get into Hip Kitty, the new jazz place across the street.
went here for one of my friend's bdays. the set up is cool. the outside has these huge but sophisticated fire pits. unfortunately, the outside area closes 30 mins before the bar area, and the bar area closes at 11 on the weekdays. so good time cut short.. really pretty ambiance tho!
