5 reviews for Hotel 43
Only 4 reviews (now 5 with mine) for Hotel 43?!?! All you yelpers who travel to awesome Boise are really missing out. Okay, Hotel 43 is not on par with the fancy boutique hotels of NYC, LA, or SF, but it's Boise...c'mon..what do you expect? For Boise (no offense Boise), this hotel is quite awesome. The rooms are a good size and they give you nice little amenities, such as a piece of chocolate and a bottle of water when you check-in as well as a teddy bear on your bed....schweet! This place would totally be where Frank Sinatra stayed if this were the 1950s and in Las Vegas. Also, they have a cool little bar downstairs that was actually pretty crowded for a Tuesday night at 9:30pm...schweet again!
I highly recommend Hotel 43...it's close to a lot of cool stores in downtown Boise and if you're just looking for a cool bar to hangout while your here for one night...it has that as well. The only downside is the gym is kinda small....but aren't most hotel gyms?
This place is great. I stayed here for work recently and I loved it. Great Rooms, staff is awesome and every night that I stumbled in after drinking all night the gentleman gave me a bottle of water both nights to help sober me up. AWESOME! Great Hotel......

Great decor, friendly helpful staff, and the rooms were very reasonably priced! The room itself was a 'standard boutique room', which had a king bed with amazingly soft sheets, down comforter (i think - it was warm and fluffy and awesome), a clean, tasteful bedspread (!) and an assortment of desk & lounge chair around the room edges. We holed up here happy and warm for the night, and didn't want to leave even for food.
Anytime we're passing through the Boise area again, we're definitely staying at Hotel 43 - price vs what you get equals the best value we've run into on the road.

I have a favorite hotel in this town that isn't hotel 43, but this is a close second. The boutique room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. I have spent many nights in boutique hotel rooms in Denver, L.A, San Diego, Chicago and Minneapolis. I am not sure that anything in Boise is trying to compete with the "big guy". It's not what you are going to find in LA because it's no LA! Thank God! Take it for what it is, a nice cute place to lay your head.

Got a great deal on my room here (around ~$100) and best hotel value I have had in a while. Walking distance to downtown, nice rooms, and trying hard to be a W in a town that can't get the real thing.
Only thing I would change is the music. Hard to take the black-suited local staff that is trying to be hip seriously when the soundtrack to a JC Penney is being blasted in the lobby and elevators.
