Loved this place!
Cool amenities, awesome staff - and close to the action! -
Review from Arry Y.
We spent time here after our wedding - and seriously, both my sweet dear husband and the hotel room were divine!!! So happy my girlfriends recommended this for us.
5 stars for:
- Personally hand written note welcoming us in the room
- Lovely truffles awaiting us next to the note (very tasty too)
- The bathtub was AWESOME (comfy for two!) - the spout is in the ceiling!!!!
- Oh yeah, there's a cute rubber ducky by the bathtub.
- Very comfy bathrobes for lounging in
- Comfy beds
- Room service delicious!
- Gorgeous lobby
- Concierge was very helpful in booking last minute limousines and car service for us.
- High def TV with the high def programming (impressed my husband)
- TV even said "Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. ..." when we got to the room
- Champagne glasses
- Best is food at Boka that awaits you downstairs, should you want to leave the room.
- Of course, we got late check out
Absolutely freaking perfect.
Can't wait to go back for our wedding anniversary. -

Concierge was very helpful and friendly. The rooms felt spacious and I love the design of the bathroom. Everything was very comfortable and clean.
Biggest complaint: I can't recall the last time I stayed at a nice hotel that only gave me 2 bath towels, 4 is minimum, even when I'm in developing countries they do that... come on'! -

This was our first trip to Seattle, and boy did Hotel 1000 help to make it a great one. What a wonderful hotel. The staff is so accommodating, the amenities are lovely, the room was amazing, the view was breathtaking, the room service was impeccable. We will be back, and we will be staying here again! Worth every penny. The valets and drivers were super helpful, so take advantage of the free in-town car service. Oh the only TINY complaint I have - the bath towels were like using an emery board to dry off with - rough and worn. I should have just asked for newer ones, but both days they were like that.

Waking up in a bed you never want to get out of...rolling over to a view you can't stop taking in....
Showering in a rain forrest style standup and then hopping in the bath only to have it shower you from above as you float a rubber ducky ever so blissfully across your chest...
Grilled cheese sammich and fries with an extra pickle delivered to your room at 2 am by a friendly young waitress....did I tip too much? It doesn't matter...
Looking out on life and seeing so much of myself in the reflection of the rainsdrops falling on my window pane...
Walking back to the hotel after hitting bars in the area....kicking leaves as if brushing aside all lifes issues and momentos only to know that they will return with the springtime of life itself...
Gym to keep you fit and tone, drinks to satisfy and get the night going at the bar downstairs...this review is long overdue...times forgotten but yet so fresh on the mind...

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Seattle to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. We decided to splurge and stay at Hotel 1000 - what a great decision! This is a superb hotel. From the moment we pulled up at the valet parking each and every staff member treated us like royalty. Glass of champagne at check in? Sure! Complimentary truffles and champagne in our room to celebrate our anniversary? Why yes! Bottle of red wine in our room on our second evening? Amazing!
The room itself was beautifully appointed and had lots of little touches that revealed the quality of the hotel. We ate at the restaurant, BOKA, several times during our stay and the food and cocktails were great. I also utilized the fitness center and it was clean and had lots of free weights and machines.
Overall, a wonderful hotel and it will now be our go to place when we visit Seattle. -

Whoever gave Hotel 1000 anything less than 5 stars is insane. I'm a consultant and travel quite a bit and I have NEVER found a hotel as AWESOME as Hotel 1000. I've stayed at the Ritz at multiple locations and they have NOTHING on Hotel 1000. I've probably spent 40 to 60 nights in Hotel 1000 over the past 4 years. After 4 or 5 stays, the front desk would know me as I walked in the door sunday nights to check in. I had been staying in the W, but discovered Hotel 1000 one night and never looked back. Don't get me wrong, the W is a great hotel, but Hotel 1000 is a local hotel you can't EVER pass up.
I'll break it down for you:
Rooms: Simply insane. The beds are great, the bathrooms are spectacular (the filler for the tub is on the ceiling!), and the room has an incredible TV and sound system. The minibar is stocked with local beers, which is awesome. I learned about Skuttlebutt beer from Hotel 1000! As I was checking out one week, I mentioned that my fiance was returning with me in two weeks and we had just gotten engaged. [now I go to the service side of the hotel]
Service: After mentioning that I had just gotten engaged and my fiance was flying in with me, they set my fiance (now my wife) up with an incredible suite. I didn't even ask!! The suite was INCREDIBLE. We still talk about it!
Food: The room service is very trendy and was very good. Being that I was there so often, I opted to always go to the Lounge (exit the elevators, turn right towards the exit, and make a left into the lounge) and the food and drink selection was always great. They had the fire on during the winter and I could often be found working on my laptop by the ring of fire. The restaurant (go towards the exit and turn right) had an amazing pear, cheese, honey, and walnut appetizer
Gym: Yeah, it's a little small, but it has what you need. I'm a runner, so a treadmill and basic weights is all I need. And that's all I used. Worked for me! Plus, i was usually in the gym by 5:15am most mornings, so it wasn't ever crowded.
If you're staying in Seattle for any reason, try to get a room at Hotel 1000. It's worth whatever they're charging! Unless you want to keep your bar low on what's a "nice hotel", then stay over at the Sheraton. They always have room. -

The first thing that stands out to you is the service here. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your experience.
As soon as they found out that it was my wife's birthday, they greeted her with a longstem rose. They then offered to shuttle us to dinner in a towncar...but we opted to walk instead.
The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The large soaking tub with water that comes from the ceiling is a nice ammenity. The beds were fantastic. One of the better nights I've slept in a motel. -

This is 5 star at its finest. I have to admit, it wasn't me who stayed here, but on behalf of my parents I can say it was superb. We were all given a glass of champagne at check-in...and I wasn't even a guest! The room was clean, modern and quiet. The room service...get the pancakes for breakfast. Wow. Just...wow.

Stayed one night of our honeymoon here, the week before Christmas. Wife couldn't stop raving about the room - especially the tub! Great location, and the service was stellar as well.

After having stayed at the hotel three times (all work-related) I can confidently rate this hotel as five stars. From the warm professionalism and prompt service to the immaculate facilities it is always a treat to stay at Hotel 1000 (particularly since I'm always there for work).
My personal tastes prefer the small scale of boutique hotels and Hotel 1000 is a perfect fit - beautiful, dark palette for its rooms, easy to navigate and a staff that treats you like a true guest. Its restaurant hotel, Boka, offers variety with its menu and the food is prepared well.
I've also used the gym (small but well stocked with good equipment) but not the golf course or spa. Like the other reviewers said, the bathrooms ARE amazing and the tub does fill from the ceiling. I think you could stay soley in the bathroom and be entirely contented. I also really, really like the glass wall that separates the bathroom from the main living area. A retracting screen affords you privacy but the glass wall really does add something extra to the experience.
Two (minor) dings come to mind: two times there's been inconsistent wireless internet. A wired connection is available but then you have to work from the desk rather than the bed. Also, after having stayed at a Marriott, Embassy Suites, and Sheraton the bed at Hotel 1000 comes up a bit short. Don't get me wrong, the bed has standard upscale dressings (six soft pillows, crisp linens, etc) and is very comfortable but doesn't come anywhere close to the bed experience of those other hotels. Having said that, if I'd never experienced those hotel beds I'd be entirely satisfied with my night's rest at Hotel 1000.
I'm always a little sad when I leave but it's worth it. When I'm at Hotel 1000 I feel relaxed and pampered - I come out feeling better than when I went it. -

Best value by far. Our room was around $200/night for the deluxe room with a king bed. The staff was so welcoming the entire time we were there. My girlfriend and I got engaged that weekend and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and a personal note congratulating us.
The city view room was great. The bathrooms were huge and the tub was clean and relaxing. We couldn't have asked for more. Parking was expensive so we just opted to park on the street a few block away which was no problem and definitely worth it. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Oh, they also had a snow machine running over the entrance for the holiday season which was very cool. -

Disclaimer: I normally wouldn't stay on a pricey hotel like this unless it's on someone else's dime.
Basically, it's an upscale hotel. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, up to date, with great amenities. The room service menu is pretty good, but like most room service meals, they're expensive. dur.
My favorite things about this hotels are:
- free valet service (downtown area only and when available.)
- the staff was incredible
ex. I used the Valet service to get to a sports facility 7 mins away from the hotel. When we arrived at the destination, the place looked closed for the night, but I was sure that people were still there so the staff, Miles, offered to wait to make sure that there are people and I wouldn't be stuck at a sketchy place of town.
When I checked in, a staff misinformed me that I could drop off mail without postage and they'll take care of the postage. When I came back, another staff told me that they didn't do that. But instead of shooing me away to deal with it myself, he said he'll handle it. Score!
The reason why I didn't give this hotel a five star is because of their 24 hour gym. They have good equipment, however, i think they have too many. They could do without two so that there are at least some space for people to stretch or lift weights.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Unless you get a great deal, I don't think the price is worth it. -
Review from Mario P.
Overrated and overpriced. Granted, it's nice, but not for the rates. There are many better places in Seattle that offer much greater value. We tried this because of the reviews and friends' recommendations. We had heard about the fancy tubs that fill from the ceiling and the fancy shower. We booked a grand luxe city view room.
Just because of the luck of the draw, we got the handicap room. no fancy tub, no fancy shower, and odd proportions. I do not want to be viewed as being in any way insensitive to the needs of persons with disabilities, but frankly, I booked the hotel because of things I did not get, because this particular room has been made handicap accessible. We asked if we could be moved. They apologized and said the hotel was full. We had dinner at Boka (the restaurant in the hotel), and I began (okay, continued) to stew about the room. I went and talked to the front desk, and explained that I felt cheated. She was very helpful and understood, and after some fussing and consulting with a manager, got us moved. Unfortunately for us, we were on our way to a show, and I had to pack in a hurry while my wife waited in the restaurant. They moved our bags between rooms while we were at the show.
The new room was as advertised. However, given the location and the price, I am still not convinced that the rooms are worth the price. The location may be convenient if you are in town for business, but it is an odd location relative to shopping and touristy stuff (Pike Place Market). My next trip back to Seattle for overnight will be spent at either Olive 8 or the Grand Hyatt. Better value and closer to shopping and shows. -

As everyone else has said, mostly impeccable. Only complaint, the barely warm room service breakfast that was total overkill on the smoked salmon. Still giving it 5 stars because I'm sure if we had complained, they would have made it right. Just wasn't worth it given how tired we were from our night on the town.
Otherwise, one of the best hotels I have stayed at world wide thanks for the perfectly pitched customer service and fantastic rooms. Tell them re your special occasion - we had a very nice cheese plate and anniversary card waiting for us in our room.
(p.s.: i don't think the "city view" is worth the upcharge. not much to see from the 5th floor but another office building window, i see someone took a photo). -

I stayed at Hotel 1000 the weekend of my wedding, and although I had some minor annoyances, my experience was great overall. I reserved a block of rooms for my out of town guests about 6 months before my wedding and the manager, Donna, was initially very responsive regarding my correspondence. However, in the 2 months prior to my wedding, it took her a while to return any of my emails regarding transportation arrangements. Finally, she suggested she should just deal with my wedding coordinator instead of me. Umm, alright. I felt snubbed.
Another thing I requested from her was a breakfast buffet of pastries and coffee for my bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. Donna said that this could be arranged, and it never was. I ordered off of the room service menu, however, the way the menu was written was confusing and I ended up having to order room service twice that morning because there were things missing from my first order and it wasn't the platter I really wanted. I called down to the front desk and apparently, you can only order individual meals from the room service menu. I wish I would have known beforehand because I would have made different arrangements for breakfast. Not something I needed to deal with the morning of my wedding.
Everything else, however, was AMAZING! The city-view suite was immaculate and my jaw dropped when I walked in. It had a comfy bed and an amazing bathroom I could spend hours in. It was extremely clean and I loved how my name showed up on the telephone and flat screen tv as a welcoming note. They accommodated my 2 little dogs with dog beds, treats, water and food bowls. When I arrived the valet handed me a rose and the front desk served me a glass of champagne. My sister and I had our nails done at the hotel spa and they did a great job! They also knew I was getting married and served us more champagne! Despite the breakfast issue, the food was delicious.
I have to say, from the moment I arrived at this hotel, each staff person I came across was friendly and always willing to assist. I felt welcomed and comfortable the entire time. If I could rate separately, I would give my experience with Donna a 3, but the rest of the hotel staff 5 stars. Hotel 1000, is not cheap, but the stay is definitely worth the splurge. -

It's not often that I stay in Seattle hotels being a resident of Seattle and all... but this hotel frickin' KICKS ASS!! Talk about a radical staycation.
The rooms are a decent size, the bathrooms are luxurious (we had a clawfoot tub that had a spout in the ceiling!) and the beds were very cozy.
Most impressive however are the amenities of the hotel. Things as simple as tasty, fresh lemon/lime infused water in the lobby to a Wii game room and golf simulator. What a blast! I could waste hours in there just playing video games or practicing my swing.
There's also a luxurious spa, a 24 hour dry sauna, a gym and in the lobby there's an enormous iPad-esque touch tablet with games, photos, music and more. I'm super impressed with this hotel and can't wait to ditch my Seattle apartment for another weekend getaway. -

Hotel 1000 how distinct are thee? Let me count the ways...1000 to be exact, according to the plasma TV display in my room, minutes after checkin. Checkin was a breeze, with Alice at the front desk helm. She gave me champagne to celebrate my coming to Hotel 1000 (much worthy).
When i went up, my room greeted me with champagne and cookies and tv sights/sounds, OH MY!`! There was a BOSS ASS bathtub (that i only experienced on my second to last day) that filled from the ceiling and came complete with towel set, rubber ducky, and bath soap, OH MY~! The bathroom was hella classy and modern, and one of the walls was pure glass, letting you see the bedroom and more importantly, the tv. Scalding hot bubble bath while watching family guy was pretty awesome.
Bar food was delicious and charged to room. FREE WIFI was a great plus!!~ IT costs like 13.95 at some less scrupoulous and valuable venues. Hence Hotel 1000 is a win. Epic, even. On my first trip to Seattle, I stayed at the Renaissance. This past two times I stayed at Hotel 1000, and I am quite delighted at the switch. I dont always choose to stay in seattle hotels, but when i do, i prefer Hotel 1000.
After two visits and 8 days, I have only discovered perhaps 100 of the 1000 things that make hotel 1000 unique. Ill be back to find more~! ^_^
Oh two quick tips:
1) Try to stay away from the rooms bordering the back alley if u can. I had 505. There is a lot of noise in the morning from garbage trucks and crap. My second stay was in 509 facing 1st street, and that was no problem wrt noise.
2) After washing your face, wipe the sink or be careful not to press ur hips against it, lest you get the wetness all over your pants crotch right before cursing and darting off to work because you only brought one pair of pants X_X

My girlfriend and I did a staycation here, for a night to celebrate her birthday. Hotel is located in downtown Seattle, on 1st Ave and Madison St. The hotel had easy walking access to Belltown and Pioneer Square, which is where some of the night life takes place.
As we pulled up to the hotel we had to get our car valet parked (not really a choice unless you want to find your own parking garage). The valet attendant asked us for my name, which I gave, and then he relayed to reception. Once we walked into the lobby of the hotel, we were greeted by the reception desk by name. My girlfriend decided to get some water, which had been flavored with cucumbers. Never really thought about using cucumbers to flavor water, but it was good. They also gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. My girlfriend was already giddy about the hotel.
After checking in we went upstairs to the room, which was on the 7th floor (i think). The room was immaculate. Everything was nice and neat. The room definitely had modern feel to it along with all the modern conveniences, which included a plassma TV, iPod dock/radio, hook ups for electronics/computers, etc. There was also a minibar, which is touch sensitive. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean. Our room didn't have much of a view, unfortunately, because we weren't high enough. I think some of the units on the upper floors could see over the building, across the street.
I thought the bathroom was pretty interesting. Everything there was partitioned off with frosted glass, with the exception of the bath tub. Now the bath tub was unique, because the spout was located in the ceiling. It was also a little messy, cause it splashed water all over the place as you filled the tub. But again everything was very clean and they provided shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc.
Hotel 1000 has an attached restaurant, but my girlfriend and I never tried it out. Also located in the hotel is a virtual golf course. The lounge in the hotel has a big open fireplace and a Microsoft Surface table, that you can play a number of classic board games on it.
Overall our experience at Hotel 1000 was very good. We would definitely go back there again. -
Review from Alex S.
I cannot talk about the beauty of this place and actually do it justive.
Located downtown in the middle of everything (seriously, we easily walked to all that we wanted to see in the area right from our hotel), I was impressed from the moment we checked in and they handed up two glasses of complimentary wine to celebrate. Damn, that's class.
Our room was beautiful. Spacious for being your regular room and gorgeous overlook of the water. But it was the little things that really blew me away. For instance, we stepped out for less than 20 minutes to get a coffee and when we were back, our room was completely made up and spotless. Damn again!
And the décor was beautiful. My favorite was the fact that the bathtub filled from the ceiling. Seriously, you turned on the water and it poured down from the sleek nozzle above. You think there would be a lot of splattering splashing doing it this way, but it was such a concentrated stream of water, and such a deep tub, that there wasn't at all. Damn a third time!
My only issue was no easy iPod hookup, something I actually love when in a hotel. They had a media hook-up and if I had an A/V cord, I could have done it, but no just plug-in and play function. I guess if it really bothered me, I could have called downstairs to see if they had one, but I didn't, so it couldn't have bortherd me that much (ha). Just wanted to point it out.
It's pricey as any high-class hotel you're going to find (about $250 a night), but totally unbelievably worth it. This was beautiful in all ways. Anything less than 5 stars would be an insult to how amazing this hotel was -

This hotel is AMAZING. My apartment was flooded and I needed to find temporary housing for myself and my kitties. The manager at Hotel 1000 not only helped me get into an amazing room with a gorgeous water view, but they even had it decked out with a litter box, cat bed, scratching post and food bowls. This truly made a disaster situation much easier. The employees are incredible. I haven't seen such great customer service from a hotel, from the valet to the front desk to the housekeepers. HIGHLY recommended in all factors, not even mentioning the incredible location.

Hotel 1000 is awesome. Great location, great service.
I work as a wedding photographer. If you're looking to get married at the hotel, the event spaces are very nice with excellent lighting and a sunny enclosed area for ceremonies. It's a blast to shoot. -

Since we couldn't go out of town for memorial day weekend, my bofyriend suggested we get a hotel downtown, go out to a nice dinner ( El Gaucho) and go out dancing.
So I turned to yelp, and you guys def didn't let me down! Thankfully I was able to book a room last min late Friday night for Saturday. Upon checking in, we were offered champagne, and moments later went up to our room. It was amazing! We had a parlor suite, it was as big as my old apartment! Haha. Had a few drinks at BOKA on the patio, since it was absolutely gorgeous on Saturday.
Got ready to go out, and remembering that the front desk had mentioned a complementary car service, we called down and asked if it was available, and it was! We arrived to El Gaucho in style, (not in an old smelly cab)
Woke up the next morning and had room service, nothing like eating breakfast in a comfy oversized robe in the comfort of your beautiful hotel room! :) All in all, a very nice relaxing weekend, I would not only stay here again, but highly recommend! Next time I want to try the spa. -

My sisters and I booked a night here on 12/21/2011 for my older sisters 50th birthday as a surprise. First I will say we found our rate of $179 for the night on http://Hotels.com but called the hotel itself to book and they matched the online rate for us! And then we paid for a room upgrade to a suite for just $60. Super awesome beginning with this hotel. When we arrived to check-in, the front desk provided great service complete with a welcome champagne toast! Our corner suite on the 10th floor was spectacular; the views of the water and city were stunning. The hotel had set out macaroons with a personalized Happy Birthday card for my sister! We made reservations for dinner at Benihana a few blocks away and the hotel Town Car drove us there at no charge. Our driver James provided us with his contact information so we could call him back for our return trip back to the hotel. We had an awesome, awesome time at our stay there. The rooms are beautiful, the customer service was great. We missed the complimentary breakfast but check-out was easy and quick. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I have stayed at many very nice hotels across the country and without a doubt this is my favorite. The rooms are beautiful, it's in a terrific location, and the staff is amazing. Everyone who works there is genuinely friendly and helpful. Get an upper room facing the Puget Sound - the view is simply amazing.

AMAZING. That's the best word to describe this chic, ulta-luxe hotel in Downtown Seattle. The amenities are incredible, the service is top notch, and the decor is absolutely beautiful. I stayed here once before for a bachelorette party and had a great time, so when I was looking for a hotel to book for my boyfriend's birthday, Hotel 1000 was the only place that popped in my mind. The concierge is extremely friendly, and when I specified it was my boyfriend's birthday, they made sure to go the extra mile to make sure he felt like a pampered guest. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a "Happy Birthday", and we received a complimentary upgrade from a deluxe city view room to an incredible corner city view suite. We even got to check in early!
When we returned to the hotel a few hours later, we found a plate of delicious macaroons and a white chocolate shell decorated with the words "Happy Birthday, Steven!". Such a great touch!
Before we left for dinner, we went downstairs to the golf center, which was so much fun. We had drinks and some snacks that were both delicious (try the White Peach Cosmo, it's officially my new favorite drink).
The bathroom is UNBELIEVABLE. Definitely take the opportunity to soak in the HUGE tub that fills from the ceiling. And the soap, shampoo and bubble bath smells soooo good. The fluffy white robes made us feel like royalty, and the "Moodz" TV channel made me feel like I was at a spa.
The bed was so comfortable, the room smelled so clean, and the in-room breakfast service we received the following morning was absolutely delicious. I can go on and on about this hotel. And when we were leaving (sad) we found two water bottles in the car waiting for us.
I hope this hotel is around for years to come so I can keep coming back! I won't stay anywhere else in Seattle. Hotel 1000 is simply the best of the best! -

The customer service was AMAZING! Before we even checked in the lady at the front desk was offering my bf and I sparkling wine and before we walked in the room this sweet cleaning lady offered us some chocolates.

They probably are the most customer service providing hotel I have ever been to. They are great.
The only reason for the 3 stars is at check in they give you flutes of champagne and mine had glass in it that I drank and luckily it just cut my mouth before I could have swallowed it which could have been much worse. She said that never happened and I believe it. They did send up a free bottle of house champagne for that.
And they had a package for rose pedals in the bed and they sis the turn down but forgot the pedals. But they so try to fulfill every request and we will be back but will probably skip the champagne service. Ouch. -

As I sit in my posh room and look out on the water, I feel so cozy and happy. It is sexy, modern and has great features.
The bathtub has a spout that pours from the ceiling. YES, the ceiling! It's pretty amazing.
The service is top notch. Everyone from housekeeping staff walking by, to the front desk attendant are very personable and friendly.
One perk that I found helpful is there is a computer quiosk on every floor that is available for all guests to use for printing/general use. Love being able to print out my boarding pass at my leisure.
Last but not least, I just went to the Spaahh and it is the.best.spa I've been to. Great service, and my facial turned out to be a massage as well. Heidi is fantastic. She helped me come up with a great skin regimen for my sensitive skin. Bravo! -

OMFG. BEST HOTEL EVERRRRRR!
My boyfriend & I were spending our 7 year anniversary in Seattle for 1 night and 2 days and thank goodness we went with this sexyass hotel to celebrate 7 years of US! From the minute we arrived and introduced ourselves, the concierge/valet guy greeted us with a, "Hello! We've been expecting you! Happy Anniversary!" We then checked in at the front desk where we were also greeted with a cordial, "Happy Anniversary!" and the same concierge guy proceeded to come over with a red rose for me.... UHMMM... have I just arrived at Disneyland where they all greet you with a "Happy Birthday!" because of the birthday pin you're wearing?!???!? NO! But we certainly have arrived at Hotel 1000 that made me feel like the happiest girl in the worldddd!!
Upon entering our Grand Luxe Parlor Suite with a view of Downtown Seattle (gorgeous and worth every penny in every single square inch of that 575 square foot room!), I was surprisingly stunned and even more ecstatic to find red rose petals intricately placed all over the lovely king sized bed, a bottle of champagne, strawberries, and a letter from the hotel addressed to "Mr. and Mrs." AHHHHHH... SO I HAVE ENTERED THE HAPPIEST PLACE IN THE WORLD! Not to mention, though my boyfriend did surprise me with the upgrade of the suite, the hotel surprised the both of us with all of these things being COMPLIMENTARY! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!!
Okay. Overall, hands down, out of the 2 days we were in Seattle, 3/4 of our trip was spent in our beautiful hotel suite...trust me, you won't want to leave.......! Oh yeah, and that bathtub that everybody has so many good things to say about.....believe what you read, it's ALL TRUE. It's definitely one sexyass tub, totally fits two people ;] The whole clean, sleek, modern feel of Hotel 1000 + their hotel bar/restaurant, Boka, combined with top of the line customer service all around--that makes your experience in Seattle truly feel like Disneyland--is why YOU need to book your anniversary/birthday/getaway/random trip here at this hotel. I'm telling you, I left feeling like I was at the happiest place in the world. The experience was beyond magical.

Let me just start off by saying that I am kind of a hotel snob. Even with all of the lovely hotels I've stayed at over the years, I'm pretty sure Hotel 1000 has a solid spot in the top 3. (Four Seasons Maui & The Wynn in Vegas being the other 2).
This place is classy without being stuffy. The decor is lovely but not overdone. The rooms are impeccably clean. The views are spectacular. The bath tubs deserve a review of their own, that is how much I loved these damn tubs. I've already reviews Boka which is the hotels restaurant an it got soaring marks from me as well. If I *had* to pick something about the hotel that I didn't like it would be the price, but even that isn't *that* bad. I just want it to be dirt cheap so I can come here once a month.
Hotel 1000 will definitely be my #1 choice everytime I'm in Seattle. -

Fantastic hotel. Great rooms, excellent service. Of course, the higher the floor the better, and the views were great. highly recommend it!

I can't say enough good things about this place. We did a Pacific Northwest tour for our honeymoon and found this hotel and its staff to be our favorite in service and accomodations. And that crazy tub that fills from the ceiling!
From sending us a newlywed dessert to storing our car an extra night when we ferried to Victoria, they really seemed concerned with making us happy.
We look forward to returning to Seattle and i'd stay again here in a heartbeat. -

I wish I could live at Hotel 1000. It is the epitomy of what a good hotel should be... every single touch is thought of from the glass of champagne at check-in to bottles of water from the valet left in your car. The tubs are of course amazing, as are the rooms, the lobby design, the virtual golfing, and all the other cool touches. But what made me fall in love with the place was its service. I called down one night when I realized we should have told the valet to leave the car out since we'd be heading to dinner shortly, and when I called back 30 minutes later before I could even say anything the manager asked if we were ready for the car and told us it was being brought around. I stayed in 2 other hotels the same week for work. Both were around the same cost as Hotel 1000. Neither was worth even half the price in comparison.

This is a review of the virtual golf thingy, not the hotel. The virtual golf thingy is super fun, although a little pricey. Great service too.

Um, all I can say is, I felt like I hit the jackpot staying here. I found Hotel 1000 via Yelp and am happily adding to its slew of 5-star reviews.
Um, valet out front on a cold November night. Love it.
Offer of champagne or hot cider while checking in. Super love it.
Patient and helpful front desk, even when my debit/visa was acting wonky (was it the cold? hmmm). Awesome.
Bellhop has taken our stuff to the room even before we have finished at the desk. (Of course, the Oaklander in me was like, WHERE ARE OUR BAGS? DID HE TAKE THEM?) (Oh, you can take the girl out of the city...)
Room: AMAZING.
That bath tub? What? Insane.
Room service had a nice variety of items; the burger was priced about right and it came with fries cooked in truffle oil--TRUFFLE OIL--so, I can't be a hater, I was too busy chewing and licking the grains of sea salt off my fingers.
Free breakfast the next morning? Can I live here? -

My girlfriend and I spent 3 days at Hotel 1000 for a getaway weekend.
While we were impressed by the room, service, and location we might elect to stay elsewhere should we go back to Seattle anytime soon. Our reason is not really the hotel's fault. It's just that it is a trendy hotel in the middle of one the least trendy cities in the US. Once again unfair, but the truth. Also there were a couple of amenities: like complimentary car service, and digitized art in the rooms, that I heard mentioned in other reviews that eluded us. Perhaps one needs to stay in a suite to get those offerings, but when we asked our bellhop about it, he looked at us as if we had been smoking some of Seattle's finest. Lesson learned: don't get your expectations too tweaked up from OD'ing on reviews.
We also happen to be there while the hotel was throwing a Oscar Party Fundraiser, so we thought we'd go. Definitely a nice event, but WAY too wanna be ??? for our taste. We knew we in trouble when we noticed some of those super stretch limos dropping guests off out front. Most guests were in black tie and fancy evening gowns. While the hotel did a fantastic job with decor, food, and spreading out TVs to watch the Oscar action, this event just did not work for us. Except to get dressed up, we couldn't figure out why most of the people came. It didn't feel as if it were to meet new people or watch the Oscars, both of which were on our agenda. While this might be a nice event for the right people and attitude, it didn't meet our energy well.
While Hotel 1000 is a fine place to stay, it is not well integrated into what became my sense of Seattle's style.
PS. Perfect place for a business trip! -

This place is awesome.
Glass of champagne when you check in, everyone's really friendly, your name is on the HDTV screen, the bath tub fills in from the ceiling.
There's nothing to not like about it. It's perfect! -

This is an upscale boutique (small) hotel. So if you are used to a Hyatt or Fairmont, you might be disappointed. The lobby is small, but nice. The restaurant was great for breakfast. They have a comfortable "library" where we watched movies with our kids. The rooms were very clean and they even turned down our queen sized sofa bed for the kids. The staff was very helpful and nice, even though we bugged them a lot. We really enjoyed this hotel and would defiantly come back the next time we visit Seattle.
