WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? Ok, let's be honest: I'm not a salsa dancer. I've taken a few classes, and I can keep rhythm and move my hips, but I'm about as akward as a band geek in gym class when compared to the Latin lovah's you'll find grinding and winding in this joint. The life band was amazing. I've never felt more compelled to learn Spanish. The air is simply ALIVE in there! The establishment is just beautiful. It's a renovated cream-city brick building with high ceilings and a great VIP area overlooking the dancefloor. Around midnight we were cleared off the dancefloor to make room for professional dancers to come and show us how it's really done. I am so inspired to get back to the basics to really learn how to Salsa so that I can actually keep up. I'm so excited about the new possibilities Hot Water has brought into my life. Even if you hate to dance, this is a MUST SEE.

I was at Hot Water last night for the networking part of the 88.9 Radio Milwaukee Awards show. (The show was next door at Wherehouse.) I had been here before but it had been a pretty long time. The bartenders were great! Attentive, fast, and they seemed to be happy to be there...which is hard to find in customer service these days! The space is a little narrow for a big get together but it is a really nice place. I hope 88.9 folks were as impressed as I was and they hold their event there every year!

I checked this place out on a Saturday night for salsa, and really had a blast dancing! It was reasonably full (of good dancers) by even 10.30/ 11pm, and the songs played were well varied in terms of pace and type of music.
And the space is incredibly cool! All the salsa clubs I've been to are in the Boston area, and I've never seen any in a space quite like this (not surprisingly) -- it's in a converted warehouse, with creative and sexy lighting, super-high ceilings and a GIANT, rustic looking ceiling fan.
Their website indicates that they have a pretty active monthly calendar of lessons and events too -- I can't wait to go back and check out some of the live bands and organised events!Listed in: where are my keys I lost my…

What a wonderful space - little doubt it is even lovelier when the warm weather allows you to walk over to the riverfront to enjoy a cigarette.

I'm from Chicago and was VERY impressed. Great music, including the band who I think was Manny Martinez y Su Orquesta, what a voice! . Lots of beautiful women. Nice ambiance, plenty of room and no drama! When my friend and I first pulled up I was like, where are you bringing me! Very nice I was impressed.

I celebrated my wedding with a fantastic reception at Wherehouse a couple weeks ago. I had never been to the venue before but that will now change! (What a hidden gem!) My reception was absolutely beautiful and enchanting. We had Sunday afternoon and evening to dance the night away and I'm very impressed with everything Wherehouse has to offer. The staff treated our needs and requests with care and warmth and made sure our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. They have a huge dance floor which catered well to my family and guests. It's spacious, open and the setting is truly chic and special. We had access to the back patio area as well, which resides over the river facing Lake Michigan - stunning views especially at dusk! I'll never forget my wedding day and am thankful we celebrated at such a unique establishment. My husband and I are excited to come back to visit for some Salsa lessons!
