I give them 3 stars for trying. After all, who opens an aquarium this far from an ocean? The size of the place and its exhibits are on par with what you'd find at your usual pet store, with a few snakes and amphibians to beef up the number of specimens. Some of the descriptions seemed to have been researched and written by local grade school children.
If I was a tourist I would have felt ripped off, but I was just trying to kill 30 minutes or so with a friend on our day off. If you go in with low expectations, you can at least appreciate its quaintness. You might really enjoy it, actually, if you've never been to a real aquarium, or a decent pet store!
