I love me some corndogs.
Valley Fair is usually so headache-inducing...but then there is Hot Dog on a Stick's refreshing lemonade and deliciously fried turkeydogs. It's like I'm temporarily transported onto the boardwalk. What's not to like?

"Hot Dog on a Stick can make me sick, can make my tummy go 246. Not because I'm dirty, not because I'm clean; Just because I kissed a boy behind a magazine. Hey boys! How 'bout a fight? Here comes (insert name here) with his pants untied! He can wiggle, he can wobble, he can do the splits but most of all he can kisskisskiss on the red hot lips just like this! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
(Add clapping back and forth to create a beat)
Wow, I don't know if it's sad that I still remember this clapping game (circa the early 90s) or not, but yay me for remembering the lyrics!
But back to the review...
Please refer back to the 1st sentence.
Thank you.
P.S. Their green lemonade is yummy and refreshing, and their service is quick and polite.

Is it really necessary to have girls wearing short shorts pumping the lemonade pump up and down, up and down, up and down AND serve Hot Dogs on a Stick in the 21st Century? Has anyone else watched the geezers leering at the girls? Who thought of this idea????

..I hate food on a stick.
Is what my girlfriend says, and I've learned to adapt that rule. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because of their famous lemonade's and limades. I always get the cherry lemonade with an extra pump of syrup. It does wonders on a hot day, especially with global warming on the come up. The fries are pretty good, but nothing speacial, there are plenty of other places where I'd rather have fries from.
I remember back in the day when a hot dog on a stick cost like a buck fifty. Their prices may have gone up since I was a kid, but interestingly enough, the food still tastes exactly the same. I love the fact that they use turkey dogs in the hot dogs on a stick. I love the fact that you can get a piece of fried and battered cheese on a stick. I love that they have french fries now. I love their lemonade (both regular and flavored). I love that they have veggie dogs on a stick. Basically, if you have to eat at the mall, go for the deep fried yummy goodness at Hot Dog on a Stick, and shop happy.
Ahhh...memories of being a hotdogger. This was my first "real" job and boy, did I enjoy most every moment of it. The tricks we played on kids, the dirty looks we gave to dirty guys, creating new things to eat (out of the 3 things they sell)...but I think I'm over lemonade for my life, now. This really is a good company - I cannot resist buying their overly-priced items every time I go to the mall. Mm..I'm drooling just thinking about it.
There is nothing of nutritional value here, but for what they do, they do it well. Turkey dogs for the corn dogs, fresh lemons for the lemonade. BATTERED AND FRIED CHEESE. To quote Rachel Ray, YUM-O.
i've only had the lemonade. it's pretty good, but it's just lemonade.
