These guys are a must if you're waiting for the train out of S. Orange. Great bagel sandwiches (I personally always go egg and cheese on honey wheat).

The only thing I'd warn is to go early, because the line is usually really long (and even though they're fast with your order, you might have to wait just to get to the counter!).

This is it, guys.  No bagels can be better than these.  This can possibly be the best encounter between bagels and human species.  They make their bagels right at the back of the store, not to mention their own mix of cream cheese.  The bagels are huge.  My favorite is the garlic bagel toasted with eggs and bacons.  They really pile on the bacons.  They also offer impressive & extensive variety of sandwiches for lunch crowd.  Coffee is very good, too.

    Bring some cash.

This sandwich shop offers a full menu of eggs and other breakfast items cooked to order, cold cuts and sandwiches, and hot and cold beverages, to compliment the bagels baked on the premises. The traditional bagel acoutrements are available: flavored cream cheeses, smoked salmon, whitefish salad, tuna and chicken salads, etc.

The bagels here are alright, but not great. They are a bit bland in flavor, and more bready, rather than chewy, in texture. Anyone who thinks that these are wonderful bagels should walk two blocks east, and sample the real deal, at Sonny's.

Their bagels are fresh and taste especially good toasted with veggie cream cheese (which actually has visible and recognizable veggies in it, unlike the next door Dunkin Donuts veg cream cheese). The wait can get a little long though, there is quite frequently a long line.

I have been coming here for years because they have really good bagel sandwiches and they make their bagels on premises. However, they often have long lines and you have to wait a bit for your food. And the staff can be a little rude. I remember one time my mother ordered her sandwich, went to the bank and forgot to pick it up. I called and asked if they still have the sandwich and they said yes. About 20-30 minutes passed since the sandwich was ordered and I came to pick it up. I was a bit disappointed that they didnt offer to remake the sandwich. I even asked if they could because it was an honest mistake and she said no. I walked out and didnt bother to pay for the sandwich. It would have been the least they could do considering we were long time customers.
Overall, its a really good bagel shop. But I recently found another one that moves quicker and is a little inexpensive but offer the same quality bagels and sandwiches.

The bagels are good, the breakfast sandwiches are better, the coffee is yummy.  But the service is surly and unpleasant.  Honestly, don't go here if you don't like a side of attitude served up with your breakfast.  Also, i disapprove of their bacon-cooking method -- piling the grill with pounds and pounds of bacon at once (about a foot or more high) rather than cooking strips individually.

Very good bagels. Long line usually moves pretty fast. They do make what look like great breakfast bagels,ie.. Taylor ham.  We usually just get bagels and bring home.  Reminds me of Absolute Bagels on 108/Broardway on UWS.  Walk in ask for what is hot and evrything is good.

Haven't been in a while, but every so often my mouth waters for their sundried tomato bagel with veggie cream cheese and a tomato...great stuff.  I've had some of their other spreads and bagels and am always happy (and I'm an H&Her, so I have to have a good bagel)  This place is a gold mine, as there is always a long line, but it moves so don't be intimidated when you walk in...just concentrate on the smell of fresh bagels!
