This is the hot dog cart that parks below the Pine Cove tavern on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (evenings only). The dogs are excellent! The bun is fresh and pillowy, they offer a choice of a polish sausage, hot dog, or cajun dog, which all taste pretty darn good. Condiments are minimal but $3 gets you the dog and $4 gets you the dog-soda-chips combo. Sometimes this is just what the doctor ordered after stumbling out of Pine Cove. The vendor says most of his customers are drive-ups who just love his dogs and will stop and get one. Since the drivers are more likely to be sober than Pine Cove patrons, that ought to be a decent endorsement.

I have to agree with my friend Chris. Around 2 o'clock when you stumble your way down the piss filled stairs of the Pine Cove, and walk through that door and you turn and see this beacon of hope. Horndogs. Not only can you, for less then 5 bucks, get a piece of Americana but also fill your stomach with warm delicious beef byproducts that are gonna make feel like a million dollars. This is no hotdog stand by any means, it is an institutiuon, a historical landmark, a place that never lets you down.
God Bless Horndogs.
