Quality food. Good variety. Great service. Reasonable pricing.
Traditional American fare with beer that's made on the premises. Try the beer sampler - several small glasses to show a novice the ropes.

Compare this restaurant to TGIFridays, but without all the gimmicky flair, and inflated prices. This is an awesome restaurant that I will visit over and over again, because there is a simple pleasure in a burger or a Reuben with a side of onion rings and a freshly brewed beer - and the complimentary glazed sweet rolls are outstanding as well!
    Lunch for 5:
    3 Appetizers
4 Main dishes (sandwiches and sides)
    1 Main dish (dinner entrée)
2 sodas, 1 beer, 1 beer sampler array

Solid place! I came here when I was 14 right when it first opened way back when and barely remembered it. After driving by it for eight more years, I finally ended up back there this past weekend. Cool atmosphere around the bar. GREAT house brewed beer. Try the golden! They also had these honey glazed rolls which were amazing...totally wasn't expecting that. i got just a burger, which was good. not really a steak guy to begin with, ya know? but my friend got the chicken fingers which she claimed were the best she's ever had. everyone likes chicken fingers, so this place has to be doing something right.

best part? cheap as hell. 20oz beers were like $2.

A date and I stopped into Hops as we were driving down the Burlington Tpke yesterday. We were actually heading to Bertucci's (further down the pike), but I had never been to Hops before, so Hops became our new lunch destination.

I opted for a simple "bottomless soup and salad" lunch, which was decent and enjoyable (it's hard to mess something like that up). My date enjoyed his jerk chicken w/ rice and veggies as well

What really got me the most was the waiter we had. A fella named Ben who I absolutely had a girl crush on the whole time we were eating there. When my date went to the bathroom I shamelessly flirted with Ben and it was so much fun. Some waitstaff do the bare minimum, but Ben was so friendly and so personable, which I think is what I found most attractive about him. I think I would have given him my number if it weren't for the fact that I was on a date at the time! Oh, he was soooo cute.

Oh wait, I am supposed to be reviewing Hops, not a man named Ben. Oops! Hops was good too, I swear!

Hops is a good fri happy hour spot. Good fresh beer and great apps at cheap happy hour prices. The bartenders are friendly and remember every ones name that goes to the bar. You don't see that to often anymore. The beer is made right there, so it is never old and stale. Plus they recycle. They give all the left over hops (and there are a lot of them ) to a local pig farmer instead of putting it out with the trash. I wonder if those pigs taste like beer? Try Hops out you will like it

I guess the big appeal of Hops is supposed to be that they make their own beer. I'm not a beer drinker though so I can only comment on the food. It is a casual dining environment. Reminds me of a lot of other restaurants that have strange stuff hanging on the walls. They give you these awesome rolls/pastry type things before your meal. I always get the filet mignon (well done), mashed potatoes and caesar salad! Make sure you get the dressing on the side. You can't go wrong with a reasonably priced restaurant with good food.

Not a very big variety of food, but the rolls they give you before the meal is great.
