Desert Oasis. . .with 3 natural hot springs pools (1 large warm swimming pool, 1 small hot tub and 1 covered large HOTHOTHOT tub).
There is so much to love about this place:
1. Not too far from LA, but it feels like forever away
2. Simple/Pure/Clean Rooms
3. Sunshine, Sunshine and more Sunshine
4. The Best Free Breakfast Ever (yogurt, toast, jelly, butter, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk, OJ, hard boiled eggs, and more) It's self serve and there is plenty for everyone.
5. Small/Secluded/Private - only 10 rooms
6. Friendly InnKeeper - Chole. . .if she is still there. she was there with the original owners and stayed on when the new owner's took over a few years back.
7. Sunset
8. Massage - great massage therapist
This place is great for any/all of the following:
1. Honeymoon
2. Weekend Away with Friends
3. Bachelorette Party
4. Romantic Weekend for 2
5. Solo Introspective Journey
A place that you will find time to visit on a regular occasion.
A place that you think about how you could call it home while you are there.
A place that makes the "real" world slip away and allows your senses to take control of what is ahead.
Pure Heaven.

Hope is a great cactus that grows, undeterred by the roof above it. Hope is the roof's building, that works gracefully around it. http://static.px.yelp....
As others have noted, this is a tranquil getaway, with little to do but sleep, read, soak in hot tubs of varying heat, and nibble on the tastiest free motel breakfast I've ever had. (The hot stone massage was delicious as well.) Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Hope springs eternal, indeed.

Hope Springs is on a whole different scale from your typical Palm Springs resort. The overall feeling is that of an old fashioned, but well preserved, open-air, desert resort -- a place out of time, reminiscent of old Palm Springs -- very quiet, very clean, well ordered (without feeling sterile), and very relaxing.
There are only ten rooms, which are large, spacious and decorated in cozy minimalist modern, replete with Eames and Saarinen furniture. Each room consists of little else than a king bed, chair and CD player. You will not find any TVs, phones or screaming kids running around the pool area (it is strictly adults-only), just tranquil seclusion. Our stay consisted of reading, relaxing and soaking in the three hot spring-fed mineral pools which vary in temperature from more like that of a hot tub to that of a swimming pool. Close proximity to Palm Springs, and the Joshua Tree National Park, a truly magical place, is just 30 minutes away. But, I digress . . .
Reasonably priced and very restful. I can't wait for another opportunity to visit again soon!

Unlike what you would usually find in Palm Springs, this small resort is somehow secluded and not widely advertised- so you do get a very strong sense of privacy and peace here. Architecture is in late 50's or early 60's style, the furniture is nostalgic ultra-modern retro with plenty of design icons that will speed up your heart beat. And wow- 3 mineral pools. Never got to try the Spa but I hear it is really good. This 'motel' is great for couples but I would not recommend it for families- so leave the kids and all the worries in LA, and take care of each other by spending some quality time together, alone.

Cool, retro retreat off the beaten path in the desert of Southern California. If you love 50's architecture and are an independent soul looking for some time to soak in the sun and water then you will love Hope Springs. This small, renovated hipster motel is not the place for a family but perfect for couples or friends who just want to hang out and relax. I want last year with a good friend and we are returning again this year for another taste of Hope Springs.
A great retreat. Super minimalist rooms that are very comfortable. The hot spring pools are perfect, the ambiance is calm and the breakfast was great. I highly recommend this place. I plan on returning and combining it with day cleansing at We Care.
This is a wonderful weekend retreat! I just got back and my skin feels like silk, the 3 mineral pools of varying temperatures are only a small part of what makes this place close to heaven. The furnishings in each room are minimalist to aid in relaxing the mind and the eye. In the morning chloe has a fresh fruit, bread, granola, cheese breakfast. I hear if you ask real nice she'll fix lunch and dinner for larger parties and that she's a wonderful cook. She also was cool with us checking out at regular check out time and then hanging out for the rest of the day. There is an ample selectionof great magazines in the "lobby" which is really more like a great living room, and there are books in each room, although i can't say i cared for that selection too much. I'd love to take a group of friends and rent out the whole place. The other guests that we talked to were loyal fans of Hope Springs, rating it top billing over other similar DHS resorts in the area.
