Went to their open bar last Saturday, I had a horrible hang over, and puke all day Sunday, my memorial weekend was fuck up just because their open bar, bad bad bad vodka. But, hey, this is open bar, what do you expect?
Base on the memory I still remember, HOPE's location is little far from bedford ave L train subway, which I like very much, once you turn hope street, you see 4 big letters HOPE, I really like that! Plus they have an outdoor area with BBQ, very cozy feel; you can smoke outdoors too! Smokers!
The crow there are pretty average, some local some outsider, the only thing I don't like is the music, too retro, make people just want to sit down, drink and fall asleep, little but spicy hophop RnB will definitely help, need DJ? Holla at me!!

Like this place. have yet to go in better weather, but every time i have been there its been a good time. Granted, it's always when friends are djing or just stopping through. i always know a buttload of people there. The beer selction and prices are pretty neats!
can't wait to go when the weather is nice! the back patio is great- spacious and has a bbq- and dog friendly.
the bartender, paul aka p-hustle always offers up great deals!

Hope is a very nice, new and modern space in Williamsburg. During the summer, the owners use the large outside area to host Sunday barbecues, though it's open most of the year. On most nights, they have DJs playing from folk music to electronica. There's also a flat screen tv usually showing sports on weekend afternoons. Last time I was there, the bartender mentioned that since their 2007 Superbowl party brought in such a large crowd, they might be adding an additional tv by year's end.
This place is really non-descript, well, almost tacky decor. The crowd is whatever, but the best part is the drinks aren't overpriced and there's a huge, comfortable outdoor area. Go there if you have your own posse. There was some lame dude singing and playing guitar when we went, so we just hung out outside np.

Crowd is pretty lame, but the space is good. Decent beer selection, too.
However, their tweeters were blown, so the music was bizarre sounding, and seemed to be DJed by a bunch of teenagers with a powerbook, using some program that was most likely named MY FIRST DJ STUDIO PRO A+++
The ceilings are high though, so that's a plus.

New bar alert! New bar alert! In Williamsburg! .....Hey? Why aren't you jumping up and down like Chrissy from Three's Company? There's a bar every 100 meters in Williamsburg, you say? A bar to Williamsburg is like a hipster to....well....Williamsburg. Oh well, I guess its true.
But all jesting aside. I know the burg has its share of bars, but I think I might actually like this one. Okay fine, its half a block from my house, so I can just roll my big ass outta bed and face plant in a vodka gimlet in less than 34 seconds. But seriously, its got a lodgey kind of ambience. You almost expect to see deer antlers and a fireplace pop out of the wall. It's cozy. Perfect for the upcoming winter months. And drinks are half off for the time being as they're celebrating their grand opening. So drag yourself over here and check it out. Could be on the brink of something cute.

I showed up to this place on a Friday night after I had already been to a few spots. It was late, the dance floor was slim, and the crowd looked kind of...well....brooklyn corny.
But when I walked out the back door and saw the grill going I was like hell yeah. I had been partying for a few hours so it was just about time to be eating something. I had a cheeseburger with chips and a red stripe it was freakin cool. a good place to go when you wanna munch out but not quite stop the party. holla!
Jersey! Their only redeeming quality is the fact that they have Staropramen.
