Hooker's Happy Hounds

We specialize in fun, chasing, catch, fetch, body surfing, tug-o-war, manners and coming home tired. The guy that drives the car and doles out the treats and fun is a dogTec grad and is certified in first aid and CPR. We serve the south side of SF, and Daly City, and are available for pet sitting with dogs and cats anywhere in the City and the North Peninsula area.

Though my business is relatively new, My love of animals is over 50 years old. As a kid I had more dogs than I can now remember. We were always taking in strays and abandoned dogs. They had to get along with their fellow housemutts or we had find them a new place. It was the job of my brothers and myself. to take care of the pooches, and deal with the squabbles that sometimes arose. I wanted to be a vet as a kid, of course back then I didn't know a person could walk dogs for a living. I knew about professional trainers, but The way training worked then was not something I wanted to put dogs through. The result was that none of my childhood pets had any training. Nowadays though, with positive reinforcement methods, I have managed to teach my dogs quite a bit, and I would be working with your dog on basic obedience as well. I've been a volunteer at SPCA, ACC, Pets Unlimited, and Peninsula Humane, doing medical volunteering, walking and socializing.
