Not 100% sure how I am not the first to review this place, but I'll let it slide FREDDA R.....
This is your standard Chinese place, the food was pretty decent. They have these fried mini wanton noodles that are great to sprinkle in your saucy dishes. I won't go and say the food is a cut above, but it's decent. The selection is ok, I've seen better, but I've also seen worse. I think this place is what you'd called a local institution when it comes to chinese food. It includes a whimsical tale of moving from one building, to the building next to it and changing nothing in a way of floor plans or decoration. It basically teleported. I can only assume it was the same spell that moved the island in LOST.
This place has the best chinese food in the area. They use quality ingredients and their food seems a lot less greasy that the other restaurants that I've tried. I've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly as well.
Easily THE best Chinese in hackettstown. No bones about it, the service is great and the food is pretty dang good. Get some takeout, some wontons, a few beers, turn on a movie, its a good night.
Real Chinese food like I had when I was little. Not a fast food type place like most take outs are. Eat there or take out. It's all good.
