Wonderful little B&B located just over an hour from Austin. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to do it. It also makes a great base to do antique shopping in nearby Round Top.
Jeanette and Jerry Brown are really wonderful hosts. They treat you to a delicious breakfast each morning and a bottle of wine for those staying 2 nights or more. You can bring your own bottle and enjoy a glass in their backyard by the pond - so peaceful.
The cottage is really comfortable - queen size bed and separate sitting area. The only draw back is the tiny bathroom with shower. They have a room in the main house as well which has a queen and a twin size bed with bath no shower :(. It looked very nice.
Both J&J are photographers so be sure to check out their prints. Fayetteville is a quiet little town where everyone still waves hello at you even though they don't know you.
