A-OK for Honey Ko!
If I just read what Chris B. mentioned then this place hasn't changed a bit.
I used to head out here as a last resort when there was nothing happening in the South Bay. Chula Vista doesn't have that many places to hang out for brews (read my other reviews and you'll see). However if you are heading more south then CV then you are bound to this IB location.
This place has a decent size with pool tables. I wasn't impressed with the women, but there are a lot of Flipina women and a lot of brothas scoping them out! Ha, not my type of place but good place to kick it.Listed in: Where to drink in the South…

My mother, whenever she's in town, never fails to extend an invitation for drinks at Honey Ko and I always wondered what attracts this insane woman to Honey Ko like moths to a flame. As personal policy, I avoid bars my mother frequents but, sheer curiosity led me to the doors of Honey Ko.
They had a couple of pool tables which is always a nice alternative to dancing. The dance floor was decent, the music was decent and they poured stiff drinks. On the other hand, the crowd was a bit too mature for my preference but, if you're looking for a mature Filipina then Honey Ko is the place to be.
I eloquently explained to my mother, "the place sucked! I saw a couple of women dancing and they made me think of you. I just hope you don't dance like they do." My mother exclaimed in defense, "I only go there for drinks and I know I'm the prettiest one there."
Ahh ha!! Truth reveals itself. My mother really is insane and I say that in the most loving way. -

Came here with my coworkers. She said it was fun and there would be lots of people. We got there. Had to pay 5 bucks to get in. Had a few drinks. Danced the cupid shuffle and electric slide. Drank some more and left. Wasn't that bad. Its better to go with a big group of people.

I went to Honey Ko last night. I had a blast. I dance the night away. Pretty mix crowd and the Dj was putting it down with the music. The dance floor is a nice size and theres no dress code. All in all, i will come here again

When I went I enjoyed free pool, cheap drinks, and a good juke box. Place is huge too so no issues finding seats and had a dance floor. And the Happy Hour goes until midnight.

this place use to be me and my husbands little get away we live with in walking distance so it was perfect. but now there seems to be prostitution going on and the people that go there looked like they rolled out bed and slapped some makeup on seriously i went and saw a chick in payamas .. but too each its own. that place went to s*it
