There's about 10 tables, and 8 bar-type seating spots facing a huge corner window and sunny traffic.
They have a nice wood-burning fireplace with big comfy seats where you can enjoy a good read whilst (I've been meaning to use that word in a review) you enjoy your coffee. Makes the place feel cozy.
WIFI! I read in one of the reviews that there would only be WIFI on weekends and you had to ask for a password, but this is not the case anymore. WIFI is free, and available during open business hours. Just log into linksys.
The cafe offers hot foods and cold foods; they have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've only had coffee. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the place doesn't fill up with "stinky" food smell. The omelets smelled great!

The sandwiches here are excellent, especially the BLTA. The coffee isn't as good as the Lake Forest Park location, but it's certainly not bad (the roaster is Lighthouse). If I want a hearty sandwich and something warm to drink within walking distance of my apartment, this is the place to go.
The cafe is in a bookstore, which is both a blessing and a curse. Although it's fun to browse the books after eating a tasty sandwich, it just feels weird bringing in my own book to read while eating. They do have zippy wi-fi (get a password at the counter), though last time I was there I saw a sign announcing that wi-fi would no longer be available on weekends.
It's not quite as good as the Lake Forest Park Honey Bear, but both are great cafes.

The Honey Bear earns big points for being a part of Ravenna Third Place Books - best bookstore/bakery combo ever. Cool tables, a nice staff, good food (I had the veggie sandwhich and potato salad), good drinks, free wi-fi, a fireplace, comfy couches, and a rack of magazines to peruse while you eat. What more could you ask for?

This is the perfect place to get some coffee and a pastry and read the paper on a Sunday morning. The baked goods are YUMMY! My boyfriend and I tried the chocolate oat bar and some kind of orange twist thing. Both were amazing. My chai tea was not that delicious, which is why I am giving it four stars. I really liked the huge wooden slabs which serve as tabletops. I thought the place had sort of a Mazama, WA feel to it. What that means exactly, I can't explain - I guess sort of a small town, friendly vibe. The girls working there were really sweet. It did get a little bit crowded as the morning wore on, but a great place to hang out and read a book with a snack.
FYI - if you have the "Chinook Book", there is a coupon for buy one baked treat and get one free, up to $4. Score!

The younger (and smaller) sister to the Honey Bear Bakery in Lake Forest Park, this version is cozy with a fireplace and great sofas to relax into. Located in the back of Ravenna Third Place Books, they serve a small menu of sandwiches, soup and sweets with espresso to chase them down. I actually like this location better even though it can get crowded at times. The big picture window in the corner lets in sunshine (when its there) and the tables allow for small or large groups to meet there comfortably.
