I was sent to Charleston on business for 3 months. For the first month and a half I stayed here. The room was a nice size; a comfortable home away from home. The staff was very friendly, especially Jeremiah. Jeremiah works in the kitchen area and always offered to get me some snacks, yogurt, fruit, leftover dinner, etc.
The only reason I didn't stay my whole trip is because of the location. The location is a mixed bag. It's in the shopping center of a quiet suburb. So I'm sure the location is great for most people; it's quiet and you have a Target, Piggly Wiggly (groceries), and a few restaurants within walking distance. It is also a short car ride to the beach. Coming from living in Philadelphia, the location was a bit too quiet for me and since it's going into the winter season, being near the beach wasn't a big deal.

My husband had stayed here previously and was very pleased but our stay here this time so far hasn't been that fabulous and we regret leaving The Residence Inn which was 100% better. The room is smaller then what we were expecting and they were not as clean as we would have liked it to be. A lot of the surfaces didn't appear to be wiped down. Garbage disposal was stinky. Mold in the bathroom. The outside grounds are great though. Very pretty. A lot of very close restaurants, shops, and grocery. On site park with grills. Basketball quart. Pool, Gym, free laundry room. Free Breakfast and dinner. I don't think we would stay here again after staying at the Residence Inn though. When we booked our room they didn't tell us check in was at 4 pm and we arrived in town at 6am only to be told that we couldn't check in for 6-7 hours later (they were gonna get us in by 1pm they said). We waited for as long as we could and ended up checking into the Residence Inn instead. They called us after 1 pm to tell us we could come check in now. We didn't and they checked us in by themselves! So we ended up leaving the Residence Inn after 2 nights after finding out they had already checked us in there. We wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone. We would tell people to go the Residence Inn down the street.
- good things about the hotel-
lots of nice landscape
picnic area with grills
free breakfast and dinner
they accept pets for one time fee of $75.00 for your entire stay
walking distance to shopping restraunts and grocery (piggly wiggly)
-what we dont like-
late check in
all doors close by slamming in building and makes for a loud day and night of door slams from other guests
not very clean (mold and dirt)
