Day 1 of my trip ended with a stay at this Homewood Suites in Chesterfield. I had a spacious suite on the third floor. The menu looked like good offerings during the manager's reception, but I arrived too late to attend. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly. Free high speed internet made staying connected easy. The free breakfast this morning was good - sausage, potatoes, french toast, and juices/coffees.
Nothing too different or outstanding from most Homewood Suites, but a nice stay not too far from the St. Louis airport.

for my first night traveling, i had a voucher handed off from my father. he travels a lot for work. why is this important?
because while staying in a homewood suites somewhere (not this one), he turned down the bed, climbed in, and felt something at his feet.
...it was someone else's underwear.
that horrible and oh-my-god-i-just-threw-up-in-my-mouth experience provided a few free vouchers for any homewood suites in the country.

moving on...
i stayed at this homewood suites. it's a bit out of the city from st. louis, but the grounds were well kept, the service was extremely helpful and friendly, the suite was very nice, and i found no underwear at my feet while climbing into bed.
and trust me, i checked.
