5 reviews for Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark
This hotel is actually surprisingly nice. The suites each have their own little kitchen which seems well cleaned. There's a lot of space and we managed to get 6 people sleeping in the room comfortably! It was a great experience and didn't cost very much.
There was also a ton of parking, which suited me well! Just be sure to park near your room, or you could have a long and confusing walk ahead of you, as I did on my first night there.
This place is very clean. They have a swimming pool and tennis courts and swimming. I booked this hotel for my aunt for 4 days, and she loved it. I got her a room with a kitchen, and it was very spacey. They also have neutrogenia shampoo and conditioner and soap for you to use. And did i mention that they have good breakfast every morning and they have lite dinner on the weekdays. It is also very quite, and I like it. My aunt was also very happy that I booked her hotel here because it was so quiet and peaceful and she enjoyed the breakfast. Breakfast is good, and it is included.
Clean - Convenient to Fremont - Friendly staff~! Oh, and good price for the area too! Very quiet as well...
We finally decided on booking a block of rooms for our wedding here. We chose Homewood Suites mainly because they did not require us to be responsible for 85% of the rooms if they were not booked.
D and I decided to walk-in one weekend since we were near New Park Mall. The location isn't really ideal for our guests, it's about 15-20 minute drive from our wedding location, Palmdale Estates. However, it looks pretty comfortable and it is well kept. The beds looked comfortable. There's a lobby and breakfast room where they serve daily breakfast.
DUDES! This place was perfect for my Saddle Rack birthday night!! It was a short cab ride away (about 13 bucks before tip). We got the 2 room suite (2 bedrooms w/queen beds, each with its own bathroom, a sofa bed in the living room, full kitchen) and split 4 ways is about $30 a person. TOTALLY worth it. We stocked up our fridge with some bubbly water (for the morning) and red bull (for the pre-party) and filled the freezer with vodka (also for the pre-party) and we were set! They do have a "No Party Policy" which sucks a little cause if they find you partying it up they will automatically charge you $500 on the credit card you reserved the room with. I have a feeling it's to scare you more than anything but whatevs. Anyway, we didn't need to party late-night. Once we got back from the Saddle Rack we pretty much passed out. 2 of my girls headed down to breakfast in the morning and apparently, it was good. As mentioned before, I celebrated my birthday so I was in NO shape for breakfast. Also, the staff there was super sweet. A rare find in hotel staff. I don't know why anyone would come to Newark (except maybe business) but if you are heading down to the Saddle Rack and you plan on drinking, get a room here. It's worth not getting the DUI.
