I stayed here for an extended amount of time (3weeks) for work. I had my dog with me here as well.

At first I thought it was just OK. The place had everything I needed in the room for a long stay:
big bed, kitchen with everything including a full size fridge, living room with sofa and coffee table and desk, dining table, and bathroom with standing shower, and daily paper.
Along with that, they had nice-to-have amenities like:
free breakfast buffet daily and dinner weeknights M-Th, small pool, small workout room with basic equipment, free bicycle rentals to enjoy the really nice and long path around the bay just in front of the hotel, little convenient shop with variety of snacks and groceries and basic needs, free wifi in the rooms and adapter if you need to borrow one like i did, business center with 2 computers and printer in the lobby, laundry machines, and complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport and BART station.
Also, they are a pet-friendly hotel, though they do charge a one-time fee to keep your pet with you. And the surrounding area is especially nice for dogs because of the walkway and green areas. A lot of people actually bring their pets here just for walks and playtime. And they have lots of poopbags next to the Marina to help keep the grass clean. Although they accept pets, I don't think I saw any other guests with pets there during my stay.

So the reason why this hotel is a step above the rest is because of their super nice, helpful, and accomodating employees there! Things like housecleaning, or help with directions, taxi service, random questions I had during my stay, food service, eveywhere and everyone that helped me was especially friendly and nice. If I had my do not disturb sign when housecleaning came by, they would always give me a ring later in the day to make sure I had everthing I needed like fresh towels, etc. and if not then to let them know. If I got to the dining area late and they already started putting away food, the lady there would actually pack me a box of things I might like to bring back to my room for me, even though I know she didn't have to. There were just so many little things that I experienced and felt just came from the kindness of the employees that I really appreciated.
Although this location is a bit cut off from other areas, getting around isn't so difficult if you have a little extra time. You can catch the BART from the airport to go in to the city. Or a taxi ride to nearby Candlestick Park probably will only run you $15 or so? And the airport shuttle drivers are also really nice, and I used the shuttle more than a few times to get around, rather than drive my car.

All-in-all, I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a better value stay. I've stayed at hotels in the city before, but I feel this place was a much better experience, especially if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg, or don't want to be in a more relaxing environment to sleep.

This was perfect, it's an exit from home and I needed a place for visitors to crash. I got a great deal on http://Hotels.com and there was parking, breakfast and a great Unknown SF view that I know about cuz I live there. Pretty spacious and comfortable. Perfect!

What a STEAL for SUCH a great place to stay in the Bay Area!   $45/night for 2 people through http://priceline.com for a very homey suite that includes:

- oven
- sink
- dishes and silverware
- microwave
- full refrigerator
- full dishwasher!
- TV
- FREE wireless internet
- lots of desk AND couch space
- free breakfast (eggs, cereal, make your own waffles, juices, coffee, etc.) every morning
- FREE dinner Mon - Thurs nights
- exercise room
- indoor swimming pool

Holy moly.   I know there are plenty of places already like this, like Extended Stay America.  But I just can't get over what a great price we're paying for really nice accomodations. Front desk people incredibly welcoming and the whole ambiance is very nice. No cigarette smoke smell at all, anywhere.

Did I emphasize the free dinner deal?  Tonight we had fresh salad, mashed potatoes, salisbury steak, muffins, fruit, a juice bar, soda bar, even free red wine or beer on the house.   Free coffee and tea as well, although tonight's coffee was lukewarm/cooled for some reason.  Overall though, not bad since it's free and it's raining outside!

My only gripe is that the floor tiles the shower look old and dirty, which makes a germaphobe like me cringe a tad.  But for everything else you get for the price, I can't complain!   Definitely going to look for this place in future travels!

I needed a place to put my Dad up somewhat near to where I live in SF; but couldn't find anything worthwhile in the city. Basically for less than the price you'd pay in SF for a pretty crappy Motel, you can stay here in a suite as opposed to a dinky Motel room.

The rooms are indeed full suites (although the room isn't that big, really) so you get a kitchen, living area, pretty sizable bathroom and shower and sleeping area. We took advantage of the free breakfast in the morning before we headed out to do all the touristy stuff that the bay area has to offer.

Only complaints my Dad had were that the walls seemed to be as thin as Motels usually are and so he could hear the TV next door very faintly. Other than that, this is somewhat of a hidden gem, given its proximity to the city and would make a great spot for vacationing families, given the suites that they have available and, of course, the price.
