Categories: American (Traditional), Buffets [Edit]
7028 Sunrise BlvdI'll let ya know right off the bat that I'm a fan of this American standards chain buffett. Nothing fancy, just "slightly-below average" to "pretty good" American standards offered in an assembly-line for the very hungry.
When I came into this location for a quick lunch, I felt as though I had walked onto the set of "Cocoon". For goodness sakes, there were white-haired folks in every direction, walkers and wheelchairs as far as the eye could see! Man, it seems as though they do a half-price senior lunch at this place, or most the population of Citrus Heights is over 65. The lunch offering itself is pretty shabby, even by Hometown standards....for $8, the highlight of my meal was some fried chicken and a poor replica of broccoli-beef (Oriental style, as the package said, no doubt).
I may come to this particular Hometown again....when I'm 80.
