My mother stayed here for awhile during her internship here in LA and I stayed while visiting her for a week/. I think the best thing about this place was not only the service I received but the residents and front desk people that made this stay great. If you stay here long enough you get to meet some pretty interesting residents and they are very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are great. I love them to death and I felt very welcomed and even made a new friend.
The rooms are basically a nice sized studio. Depending on the size you have they come with a kitchen, bathroom, bed, chair/couch, nightstand, small dresser, and various other items. I did not mind at all the size of the room and the things that they provided. There was also a laundry room that does cost money, but it's nice.
This place is a good distance from food, malls, grocery stores, and of course Pasadena, CA. I was able to travel from here to Pasadena without any problems and went down Huntington Drive to various other places.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and this is one of my favorable hotels that I've stayed at.

My company just put me up there for a week. The place was clean and the staff was friendly... however, the BEDS SUCK! It's supposed to be newly renovated, but I don't know what the hell they did. We booked a block of about 12 rooms and all of my co-workers and I had an ongoing joke that you had to "drink till it's comfy".... LOL The regular rooms are tiny and the deluxe rooms are not much better, they just have a little more space and a couch. The bed is rock hard with one of those super cheap comforters and a cheapo fake velor blanket between. The curtains were plaid and the couch striped. Looks like Paul Bunyon decorated the place...
One of my windows had iron bars on it. NO pool, NO hot tub, NO BREAKFAST.... and around 109 per night because I had to pay 3 bucks a day extra for "fresh towel service" and my bed to be made. My company decided NOT to book here next year. BOOOOOOOO
This place was great when my one of friend knew the guy that worked there because of a "trade off" relationship. Anyways me and my bestfriend threw our 21st birthday party each at this hotel for hers it was great, but the damages are paid like the hotel in the door haha! As for my party got wayy too crazy they kicked us out and even called the cops on us bad! yeah i know..rushed out of there at a knit of time and party more at a friend house! =0]
The bad thing was they didnt charge my friend for my party they somehow found my file and charged me! HOW RUDE and when bill came i tried to ask them question about it, they simply didnt care! Fuck this Hotel!
