Well, I guess I can consider this hotel my first "home" in Denver. We  spent twelve days here while looking for a place to live, then waiting for the rental paperwork to clear.

So, what can you expect for $50 a night? Not much? Well, you know what, it was actually pretty decent. Bedroom and bathroom were large, and decently clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped with fridge/freezer, stove top, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and there was flatware, plates/cups/bowls, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and can/bottle opener. The hotel offers a free room clean/linen exchange per 7 day stay; otherwise it is $10, or $5 for a room "refresh" (ie, bed made, trash cans emptied, fresh towels). I liked the fact that you can get fresh towels, soap, TP etc as often as you wanted from the front desk at no charge (and the staff are super friendly and helpful). The guest laundry is really convenient too ($1.50 per wash; $1.25 per dry). Wifi is $5 per stay, and was reliable for the most part.

The hotel offers room service from an outside company (didn't try it), and there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance (we didn't try it but Maggiano's Little Italy is near, has got several good reviews, plus they deliver too which is handy). My only gripe about the place was that the outside trash cans weren't emptied frequently enough, and there was a bazillion cigarette butts everywhere. A pay-per-movie service would have been nice too. Oh, and by the end of the stay, the bed was FAR from comfortable, but for a few nights it would be fine.

Nice hotel, nice staff, great value for money.
