The Home Suites Inn looks like a no-frills motel from the outside, but it actually has a lot to offer. I saw a stray hair or two around my bathroom, but for the most part, my room was extremely clean. Each standard room is not necessarily a "suite", but rather the largest regular room I have ever seen. Most of the space is wasted, but hey, it leaves more room for my largely over-packed suitcase! Each room also offers an empty mini-fridge you can fill with cheap goodies from their convenience shop or well-priced vending machines. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, small fitness room, meeting facilities, direct access to the Naked Fish restaurant in the parking lot, and more. Each morning a free HOT buffet breakfast is served in the homestyle lobby. They offer eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, Belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, pastries...everything! There is also juice, coffee, tea, sodas, etc. The morning news is broadcast on multiple television screens. There is a nice employee that helps clear away the dishes and keep the food fresh; she is really on-top of herself. The front desk also serves fresh white chocolate cranberry cookies throughout the afternoon and early evening. Free Wi-Fi is available in each room and in the lobby. A guest computer is also available for those traveling without a laptop. Free newspapers are also delivered to the door each morning.
My only complaint is that the only toiletries offered are a "conditioning shampoo" (one bottle), smelly body lotion, and two soaps. Ok, I know that is not too bad, but the body lotion smells so bad that I would never use it.
Regardless, it is one of the most affordable hotels in the area and offers a lot for your money.
