Located on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, this store provides one-stop shopping for TV buffs and film fanatics. You can spend hours browsing through more than 200,000 original scripts and books, many of them rare or out-of-print editions. In addition, they carry a variety of collectibles, memorabilia, color photos of notable entertainers past and present, a good selection of high-priced autographs, and actual press kits issued in conjunction with the release of movies or to promote new television series. Despite being slated for closing a number of times in order to make way for new development projects, it continues to flourish, thanks to the support of both faithful patrons and Hollywood celebrities.

what used to be a really neat store that was full of old books stacked high in cramped aisles is now closed for good.
the mall-ification of hollywood is in full swing.
