Review from Cyrille K.
Redondo Beach, CA
I have had some chronic problems with my neck, but what really inspired my visit to Holly was my recent hip strain, which I got from running. She treated both my neck and my hip - it's so amazing how needles in your feet, hands and ears can work like they do! - and they are both feeling much better. Last visit, I literally limped in, and walked out with zero hip pain for over 24 hours. And even though it's back to aching a bit, it is WAY better than it was before I got treated. And also on the second visit, I asked Holly for some help with my TMJ (I'm a teeth-clencher, and I get periodic aches and pains in my jaw as a result), and I have had no aching at all for several days.
This is only my second experience with acupuncture, and it amazes me how well it works. If you're not a believer, you will just have to try it for yourself! -

WARNING: may be TMI for some - I know this sounds crazy...of all the things acupuncture can treat, regulating a menstrual cycle is kind of a strange problem. I had been wanting to get pregnant for a while, but since my last pregnancy, things in that department hadn't been working so smoothly. I'm usually like clockwork but anyways, whatever Holly did worked! It might have been coincidence but I like to believe that she worked her magic back in April and tada, my daughter was born this January.

Holly is amazing. I first started coming to her when I had a strange issue where I couldn't smell properly (I kept smelling a chemical smell). I knew that if I went to my GP he'd just tell me it was an allergy of some sort and give me medication. I thought I'd try a different approach and try acupuncture. I'm so glad I did!
Holly is a great listener, very patient, gentle and knowledgeable. After my first session, the chemical smell went away the following day. It was amazing, especially because I was worried about how long this condition would last and it really bothered me!
I have also come to her for neck pain, anxiety and just about anything you can imagine. It is amazing what acupuncture can do! I highly recommend her!
The office is beautiful too, very clean, tranquil and welcoming. Jenna at the front desk is very friendly as well! -

I highly recommend Holly! I had a chance to do a couple of sessions with her after a recent bout of back and neck problems. I had always been skeptical about the benefits of acupuncture, but Holly made me feel right at home. She asked all the right questions, and her demeanor was professional, and courteous. Plus, what a great location for an office!
But the most important part obviously was the results. I left each session feeling relaxed, and relieved of pain. Hopefully my problems won't return, but if they do, I will definitely be going back for more sessions! -

driving on the Los Angeles freeway to see Holly Goguen i remember thinking, "wow - she has really got her work cut out for her!" while texting, drinking coffee and trying to read Mapquest at the same time. i will pass around some pictures of me for you to look at. i am the anxious, stressed, clenching my jaw, not breathing while tensing my shoulders one. that's me on a good day. when i saw Holly i had been working for two months straight with only two days off. i was levitating a few feet above myself. i was out of my mind.
i must admit i didn't have high expectations. i don't know anything about acupuncture and was not convinced. that was before Holly. she was delightful. she really listened and was kind and professional as she took the lead. as she asked me questions i started to see the validity and potency of acupuncture. my experience was profound. during the session i felt a complete change come over me and there was a monumental shift. by the time she removed the needles i felt grounded, totally in my mind and in my body. she had performed a wholesale miracle. just this week i started to feel the burn of life in 2008 in this busy world and i thought, "time to go see Holly!" -

Simply put- Holly is the BEST acupuncturist I've ever been to (I've tried several), not to mention the nicest and most attentive. She healed an acute and reoccurring back injury that usually takes two weeks in only two treatments (with one day in between). She is heaven sent and extremely talented at what she does.

I found her through a google search and so grateful I did!!! I have never had acupuncture done before and I am growing tired of popping pills for every ailment. She was very patient and waited for me to come into her office after I got off work late for my first treatment. She could've easily told me to reschedule but she didn't. She is fantastic and the treatment was unbelievably relaxing!!! I didn't know a whole lot going into this but I already have an appointment for my next treatment. The universe works in an interesting way and I am so glad that I googled acupuncture and spoke with Holly.
