i have stayed at this hotel twice. its really nice (for kentucky). they have free wireless, friendly staff, and good amounts of parking. we booked our stay from austin using priceline and got a really good deal.
my wife left her hair dryer here and they mailed it back to austin for us. we had to pay for the shipping of course, but it was still nice of them to not steal it...
I don't travel so much for my job, so I still get a thrill out of going somewhere and staying in a hotel all by myself. Jumping atop one of two beds and throughly checking out every cable option available, reading the room service menu, checking to see if there is a bible in the drawer, smelling the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion, calling the front desk for a shower cap (that I never use). I'm a 6 year old on vacation...at a Holiday Inn ... in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I probably only spent 6 total hours in the room, but I must say it did the job. Of course any clean hotel with all the typical amenities is going to do the job for me.
This was just a Holiday Inn, but it was a pretty nice one at that...with a huge atrium with a waterfall cascading down the outside of the elevator shaft, it was really peaceful. I think they do a lot of conferences - as I had a lot of middle aged men in "business casual" attire eager to chat me up in an attempt to "network."
The continental breakfast was an added bonus...though not complimentary, they helped me out in my fast break for Nashville at 6 am!
I used to get girls naked in the hot tub here. Never stayed the night though. Seems like a cool place, a friend of mine really likes it.
