Considering this is one of the most popular places to stay while on the fishing trip in Seward it is actually not so bad. The price however is quite on the pricey side especially during the peak fishing season and considering it is a "holiday Inn". But I guess having a nice soft bed and a clean bathroom is better than living in a tent and camping out in the wilderness. : )
It is very convenient to all the eateries close by so that is already good enough....

Typical chain hotel from the bedding to the decor to the breakfast. Still, it is comfortable and great access to the boat harbor. The saving grace of this place is the view, if you are lucky enough to get a room facing the water. The hotel is right on the bay with extraordinary views of the mountains and surrounding landscape. It is the view that gives the place four rather than three stars.
