Rates are good, facilities are clean, and staff seem friendly. Complimentary wi-fi is nice.

Probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed at in a while, or what my husband now affectionately refers to as "The Hobo Hotel."
Room had a strong musty odor and carpets were stained all over. The bathroom looked clean, but spots behind the sink were filthy. Our clothes hanger was ripped from the wall. We told housekeeping about this and they said not to worry.
Upon checking out, we reported the damage to the front desk who were incredibly rude and condescending.
Definitely won't be staying in another Holiday Inn anytime soon! -

This hotel is fraught with issues including: ants in beds, key cards that work one minute and not the next, and an inability to check people in when they say they will. Our group was not the only one to have issues, it seemed that everyone had a story about the lack of consistency from this hotel. The hotel staff also seemed a bit hit or miss, I asked a person at the desk if they could help me figure out how to get into the city and they said they would call me. They never did.
The recent renovation probably helped improve a lot of the interior design in the hotel, but there are still issues with various parts of it and the job wasn't done great at some places.
The only good things about it for us were the location and the fact that the lounge was open until 4 AM each night. Would not stay there again. -

My brother just had a wedding recently in the area and they blocked off 80-something rooms for the bridal party, family, friends, and other guests who were traveling. The hotel just had recent renovations over the past 2 years and I have to say it looks good and is very clean. I found the staff very friendly and going over-and-beyond for my family and other guests. Unfortunately, an awful storm fell on the weekend of the wedding and the whole area was in a black out. The hotel only had limited generated power. However, to cater to the wedding party and guests they put candles and flashlights out in the lounge and still kept it open til 4am for the wedding "after-party." The manager on duty was very nice and at check-out they were charging people a dramatically lower price or just comping the room all together.
