You know when you see quality when there's a menu for pillows!! I didn't know that people actually cared about the comfort of my head. :o) I was pleasantly surprised, especially when we each paid $37/night.

Our room was very spacious. The indoor pool was super clean and the water was warm and comfortable. You can also melt away in the jacuzzi. The bar and restaurant inside the hotel are very convenient and inexpensive as well.

Definitely coming back!

Like every other reviewer - I'm not used to dropping $180 a night at a Holiday Inn, but Mammoth is an exception.

I've stayed here plenty of times and it's always been a clean and spacious hotel with friendly staff members.  This location has an indoor pool/jacuzzi set up. Also, pre-child I never appreciated the "kids eat free" but with my hungry monster in tow he was able to have a complete breakfast every morning for free.

It was rather expensive for a Holiday Inn, but that's to be expected in a ski resort area.

The rooms we had were surprisingly spacious and clean, we got a magnificent view....of the snow packed parking lot.

This hotel is great just because the bus/trolley that takes you up to the lift is just 1/2 a block away.

For a 1-night stay (Sunday to Monday), it was just fine - $149 with AAA discount.
Our 2nd floor room was very spacious compared to Motel 6 / Mammoth Mountain Inn / other similar lodging in the area.

The semi-covered parking spaces were... different.. something I'd never seen at any other places I've stayed @ Mammoth.   Glad I brought my shovel and AWD/snow tires to get over the mound of snow in front of the space!

I'd consider staying there again if I need to plan another short-notice / short-stay trip.

So hands down this is the best place to stay in mammoth. Unless you're a baller and then go get a room at the village or JSL or something. The bar is a little known secret. Used to be a big locals spot but thats all changed. Still, stop in and tell Juan whats up.

Our cabin reservations fell through the day-of and we rolled by here to check out if they had vacancies. Luckily they did. I will admit that it is pricier than renting a cabin for the weekend, but if the cabin rentals fall through, I would highly recommend this place. The place is clean and the service was awesome. Tony was the evening desk clerk and he was really nice honest, and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. They do offer limited covered parking, indoor pool and spa, and also has a restaurant. They offered buffet breakfast for an additional $10 per 2 people. I thought that was a little expensive for buffet breakfast, but their normal prices are really expensive which makes the $10 for 2 people a deal. I was overall pleased with my stay here given our situation. If you got a small group, keep this place in mind.

i'm not really accustomed to dropping $200 per weekend night at a holiday inn. but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in mammoth and without going in for a 2 night minimum, this place is a safe bet. the room was spacious and clean and there was large jet-powered tub in the room.

i didn't check out the pool area but according to my friend who scoped the scene, those congregating there were generally geriatric. say what you will about their choice of bathing attire, but having old folks around you will at least guarantee a quiet evening.
