This Holiday Inn has a fabulous banquet room, with a most professional and friendly staff. I have had the occasion to have events here, and I have to tell you, that their service and hospitality is second to none!

If you are having an event, party, wedding, bar mitzvah, I highly recommend The Hazlet Holiday Inn.

This newly-renovated hotel was simple and delightful.  Well-appointed rooms, speedy and free (wired) intarwebz access, comfy bed with a variety of pillows, newly-tiled/wallpapered bathrooms; everything was nice and clean.  No mystery hairs in the shower, which is always a plus.

The front desk staff is super-friendly and very helpful, and the housekeeping staff was also terrific.  (I know that sounds silly, but seriously: Most of the time you never interact with the housekeeping staff.  But as they arrived for work and walked through the hallways, they were extra-cheery.)

The hot breakfast (!) is tasty and as quick as you need it to be.  Decent coffee, even.

The hotel bar is well-stocked with both booze and colorful locals:  prepare to interact with the shore natives.  This can be either desirable or annoying, depending on your perspective.  :-)

A nice little happy story:  One morning the restaurant was closed, so the front desk clerk pre-ordered some diner-tastic breakfast sammiches from the neighboring Adelphi Diner.  He then then went the extra mile by calling the cab dispatcher to ask them to pick the food up on the way to pick us up.  How cool is that?  And of course, the hotel picked up the tab.   I was impressed.

Also: They have a classic videogame cabinet with a ton of classic videogames on it-- very fun.   (That was not me playing Phoenix at 12:30am, honest.  I am a professional business person.  Or something.)

Anyway, you can be comfortable staying there.  Clean, safe and cozy... can't ask for much more!
