I love this hotel! Recently went to Tahoe for a wedding and was extremely disappointed with another hotel so we switched to this one late one night. The rooms are clean, offer hypoallergenic bedding, and free WiFi!
Best part- free breakfast and close to shops, state line, and lake!

A recent stay at a Holiday Inn Express in Corvallis, OR made me sort of excited about this chain. I used to think Holiday Inns were kind of...dumpy, but the one in Corvallis was fresh and new, with a rather impressive free breakfast and really nice rooms.
My hopes were dashed at this HIE. The rooms are in separate buildings with outdoor corridors, something that just screams "cheap motel" to me. The rooms are decorated fairly nicely, but the free breakfast was an atrocity. The saddest part is that we paid MORE for a room here than we did in Corvallis, and the stay was half as satisfying. I guess Tahoe hotels know they have a captive audience and therefore don't have to try as hard.

Being one of the only semi nice hotels with availability, we ended up staying here.It was actually quite nice.
The only room available was a suite, and we got a pretty good rate.It was like a little apartment equipped with refrigerator and all, very clean, modern, the bathroom was remodeled extremely nice.Had two rooms both with a nice size television.
Overall stay was good, very close to Harra's and shopping center, glad we lucked out with this place.I would definitely avoid the complementary breakfast and go elsewhere, just took a glance at it and it didn't look to great, but then again I am a little picky.

Lovely hotel friendly staff.
I was pleasantly suprised with this establishment. The room had everything you could ask for including a mini refridgerator. We went up there for a fishing vacation and the staff was wonderful. Fresh towels everyday and no problems. The continental breakfast in the morning was good too. Definately would stay here again... Oh yea, did I mention that it was cheap?
The location is great, just a short walk to the Heavenly Gondola, Safeway for groceries, the movie theatre, restaurants, shopping and Stateline. The staff here was friendly. They seemed laid-back and were attentive to our needs. The room was great, clean and updated. We stayed here while on our very first family trip to the snow. Overall experience was great!! We stayed in the family suite which included a full kitchen (stove, sink, microwave, small refrigerator, I think they also had plates and pans too, 2 separate living quarters- main living room and the other side of the wall, 2 queen beds. They even have a fireplace that can be seen from both sides of the room. Also, a nice lodge area and fireplace in the main lobby, but that place turns into a mad-house in the mornings when everyone is fighting for the bacon and eggs because of the free continental breakfast offered here. If you have kids, good luck finding a place for your family to sit, just like what we had to do. You'll just have to wait for a family to finish-up. They have a truck with a plow and the roads are always cleared-up for the crowd to drive off to the ski resorts. The other thing about this place to be aware of is the parking. Good luck in trying to find a place to park if you ever return past 9pm or so at night. Alot of people like to bring their SUV's and trucks and spacing could be tight. There's only like 16 spots in the back end of the hotel. The staff was friendly enough to let us park the CRV in the handicap spot. Speaking of CRV, I used the navigation system to search for places to eat near the hotel and came across a restaurant called the "NAKED FISH". Not used to the scaling of the map, it seemed a far walk away, so we all got into the car. As soon I drove onto the street, the restaurant was literally in front of us. Ooops, stupid me. So we went back, parked the car, and walked there instead. You are in PRIME Location here, everything is ridiculously close. I recommend for buffet, Harrah's on the 18th floor. Dinner is less than $20, more selection, better view, and tastes FAR more better than that piece of shit food they have at MONT BLEU. Avoid that place at all costs!
good hotel
