Very clean hotel. The furniture in the room looks like it may only be 1 year old. The only problem is the hotel is located on a very busy road but the up side is that there is a lot of places to eat if you don't mind the traffic.

Looking for a HIE (so we could use our points) near the airport for one night while on our way to Europe.
The hotel was not as close to the airport as we thought but that was fine since they offer free shuttle service. The shuttle drive to the hotel was horrible, lots of traffic, i think the driver was aggravated, his driving was very "herky jerky", my husband actually got car sick (which he never does). The drive to the airport the next day was much better.
Staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel room was on the small side but was clean and modern.
There are many restaurants around the hotel but not easy to get to (across the highway). We were able to walk to a Friendlys up the street. There was a Steak house close by also.
Free breakfast in the morning was okay. There were no omelets on the buffet when we went.
The hotel allowed us to check out late and leave our luggage with them for a few hours so we could have lunch with family in the area.
    Overall a good experience.

In some ways this hotel was awesome. The clean rooms and style you'd expect from any Holiday Inn Express. The price point was what made us book here. They offer rooms with an airline/travel discount if you show them your airline ID. So that brought the price down a bit for us. That combined with the free airport shuttle convinced us to book.
This hotel is NOT close. They promote it as an 'airport hotel'. No way man. It's 11mi. from Logan in the opposite direction of Boston.  When you're at Logan there is a free direct line to the hotel in the arrivals area (I was at terminal E) so you can let them know to come pick you up. The next morning you can get back to the airport for free (shuttles run on the hour and you should reserve your spot the night before as they fill up) but then you have to hop on the T to get downtown. Give yourself extra time to get around if you are staying at this hotel. Not convenient if you are visiting Boston for leisure. I had a small overnight bag with me, but had to carry it around all day after i checked out in the morning. It didn't make sense to leave it there, as I'd be passing the airport and it would take at least an extra 30-45mins to go back and pick it up before i could check it in for my flight. Silly. Most airlines won't let you check in your bags more than 2 hours before the flight.
A pro for the HIE was definitely the breakfast. YUM! It's self serve between 6:30-9:30am. We went down just before 9am and there was lots of selection. Not just muffins and toast like i was expecting. Multiple coffees, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, bread, bagels, muffins, bananas, yoghurt, cereal, pancakes, biscuits (yum!), mini eggs/cheese omelette things (i scraped the cheese whiz off, yuck), cinnamon buns and bacon. Lots o' bacon! It's more like thin bacon shavings, so i just took double the slices ;) Mmm. There was cream cheese, lots of jams and jellys, butter, syrup etc. It was great. We sat down there casually eating and reading the paper for 45mins until they started clearing out the food. There was lots of comfy seats and a TV to watch.
More pros: free wifi. They give you the password when you check-in. A pool and gym (i din't use though).

For the price, you are wise to stay here when needing to be close to Logan. Beware that this hotel is not the closest one to Logan, but they have a million shuttle buses parked in their lot, ready to take/pick you up from the demon airport.

The rooms have been renovated, so you can expect a good bed, comfy amenities, breakfast, and Internet. However, the price point is apparently a little too good. For instance, when we entered the lobby late one evening to ask if we could park in adjacent parking lot, a young (too young) guy was busy paying cash for his room, while his lady friend in very high heels and not enough patience stood idly by. Hmmm. Can we say "career girl"?

Staying there now on a 2-day trip to Boston.  This has everything I'd want... cheap (I paid $166 for two nights including tax via http://Priceline.com), clean, wifi internet in the rooms, a small fitness center (bike, treadmills, etc.), and breakfast included (omelettes, waffles, fruit, yogurt, etc).  Even had HBO.  Staff are very friendly and helpful.

It is a little out-of-the-way: about a 15 minute shuttle ride north from Logan airport, though they'll drop you off at the airport if you want to take the subway into town.

Right off route one (Although the entrance comes quick, you have to be ready) this place is really nice. It's a simple no frills hotel that's clean and really well priced. Don't expect much more than a clean room, maid service, and a standard military microwave heated buffet breakfast in the morning. This place has a free shuttle to and from Logan and is usally utilized by people on business trips looking to cut costs but not be stuck in the Bates Motel. I stayed here only one night and it was really easy to check in, check out, find a parking spot and talk to the staff. It's also the cheapest place in the area.

What you would expect from a HIE.  Reasonable rate, free airport service that was prompt and driver friendly.  Very clean, their classic breakfast.  They have a pool and a workout room that I didn't use.  Walkable to CVS (although its up against Rte 1 which is interesting).  AC worked very well and utilized the fridge.  I'd do it again!

This place advertises as "Logan Airport" but it is actually ~20 minutes away. Our room was $99 on a Sunday summer night, not a holiday weekend. I chose this b/c we had a 6:30am flight and wanted to return the rental car Sunday night rather than driving ourselves to the airport that early Monday. The airport shuttle starts at 4AM, so it worked for that purpose, but man, it is far. Also, the room was shaped like the bed was in a pie slice, with walls angling in toward the bed. The QUEEN, not king, bed's corners were only a couple of feet from each wall. It was also right along a highway. The only restaurant in walking distance was a Hooters. Overall, it wasn't very convenient, and for the price, didn't offer much. Breakfast starts at 6:30, so you will miss it if your flight is early. Staying downtown for ~30 more a night would be the way to go next time. Also, there were not a million shuttle buses when we were there, only one.
