I've been saving this one up for a while.  Ah, memories.  I wish it was possible to give it zero stars, but that's not an option, so just know that I remember this place as the Horrible Inn.  I was travelling with a bunch of other people, so I've got a laundry list of issues that showed up between all of us.  My room did not have hot water and the desk was infuriatingly unresponsive when I called about it.  I had to go through three people before one of them agreed that this was a problem.  Since I was on business travel and it took me over 17 hours to get there (second. worst. flight. ever.), I really, really needed a shower.  On top of that little problem there were an awful lot of bugs crawling all over my counter.  They were really small, so maybe they didn't notice them?

One of my colleagues had mold in her tub, so she had to clean it herself (this is the point that we realized that they couldn't possibly be using hot or even warm water to clean the rooms--ew!).  One of my other colleagues had a door where the lens in the peephole was missing, so they had shoved a kleenex through it, because that apparently fixed the problem.  Out of seven of us, only one of us was able to drop onto their WiFi connection, and it took him an hour of persistent trying.  Plus anything that could be rusty was.  Oh, and my floor was damp.  I didn't want to know from what.

We tried to change hotels, but it was high tourist season and we couldn't find another hotel with that many rooms open at the government rate.  Now I know why this hotel had so many rooms open.  I should've just slept on the beach!  Even if I had gotten beat up it would have been a more pleasant experience.

Another one of those motel-hotels. This holiday inn has several two story buildings without elevators. There is a central pool, fitness area, and restaurant. It is definitely geared toward fall-winter visitors, as going between buildings during the rainy/thundering months is not pleasant at all.

The room itself was pretty shabby. The bathroom lock was broken, and I managed to lock myself in the bathroom. Great fun. The faucets were just barely working, and their claim of "high speed internet" is a joke. Some of the white towels had traces of black/red/whatever rainbow color you want.
This place may have gotten 3 stars some places for just having a pool, tennis courts, and kiddy area, but it deserves no more than two stars--try to at least do the basics right--have a nice clean funcitioning room.
