It's a little pricey for what you get. I have been here to use the conference rooms and stayed here when I was too tired to drive home. The staff was nice, and the room was clean. The halls could be cleaned out a big more regularly. The elevator was super slow and it's not a huge hotel and I couldn't find a usable stairway, so cell phone calls kept getting dropped during a 2 floor elevator ride. I did get southwest points when I stayed here - WOOO-HOOO. If I got a better rate the next time I could boost my rating.
Also, in terms of the conference rooms, we ended up creating an electrical nightmare trying to set up enough power strips for everyone to plug in their computers.
I stayed over here for a friend's wedding, I did get a suite so they could come over and work on the center pieces while the people that wanted to sleep in the other room could. They did let me in with an early check in so I could get the room prepared and I managed to get into town early. It is right off the freeway, and there are places to eat and shop nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good here, And the gym facilities was just OK. I did get alot of road noise from my room and for the price of a "suite" I would have expected a little more. One to tv's in the room didn't work, and the same could be said for two lamps, oh and someone took the remote control. I tried to have them fix these issues, which they never did and they did try to make me pay for the missing remote...
The kitchenette was nice, I did find the previous person's cup o noodles and ice cream in the fridge and cabinet....

I also give these guys full marks. The hotel is clean-smelling, cheery, and inviting. The breakfasts were way better than typical for an establishment like this. The treadmills were OK. The staff do try to go out of their way to please the guests.
My only quibble was the noise from route 99. If you have a room that faces the highway, don't even think about opening your window.
Definitely a fine place to stay if you need to spend a night or two in Elk Grove.
