The Holiday Inn in Roseville is fairly new, and an extension of the suburban sprawl that has taken over the orchards of my childhood memories. Still, I can't resent it too much. I have a huge family, and there just ain't no room for me at the house anymore... Plus, it's close to home. With cocktail hour starting promptly at 5 o'clock and lasting into the wee hours of the night, proximity is key!
The hotel is very clean, and the customer service is simply outstanding, like you would expect in friendly Roseville. I loved the fact that a hot breakfast is also included in the price. Since the hotel is new, we did run into some kinks. The smell of sickeningly sweet strawberry air freshener was everywhere, and my hairdryer broke first thing in the morning. Still, *if you ever find yourself in Roseville* it's a pretty solid choice if you can get it for under $100 on Priceline.

I highly recommend this hotel. I wish I can give it 10 stars...it's the best complete package. I booked this hotel via Thunder Valley's promotion to stay & play for 2 nights/3days ($69 weekends). This way, my mom can play slots at the casino while we take the kids to the nearby water park, or Roseville Galleria Mall. Plus, my goal was to hit the casino buffet, but instead we ate everywhere else. This place speaks volume in "customer service" as they offer shuttle service to & from casino, free laundry, warm breakfast, pool, gym, sauna, free internet, fridge, microwave, handicap-friendly, & cozy lounging area. Counter was a bit small in the bathroom...hardly no space to put toiletries. Not only does the shuttle operate 6-2 a.m. everyday, but during non-operating hours, the hotel calls a cab for their guests & pays for it. Ultimate hospitality, especially for the town being so small. I'm amazed at how much has grown here since 4 years ago. Even if Thunder Valley completes their hotel construction, I'd opt to stay here for all its conveniences & value of the stay.
