2 reviews for Holiday Inn
So astute readers will guess that I'm related to Trisha W. (I'm her father) and I well remember this Holiday Inn. It was 'the nicest place in town' and the service was as bad as Trisha described it.
I concur with her rating, but I'd give it a negative one star if possible.
6:15pm: Get seated in the Holiday Inn's largely empty restaurant. Really should have known better.
6:35 pm: The server finally comes by to take our orders.
7:20 pm: The food still hasn't arrived; we find another server and ask if she'd seen ours.
7:30 pm: Server #2 returns to the table, saying Server #1 has gone home for the day. Without putting our orders in. Server #2 says she'll put the orders in.
7:50 pm: Server #2 has disappeared as well. Decided to walk out of the restaurant before we got sucked into whatever black hole was eating the restaurant staff.
...I can't imagine that a lot of Yelpers will be wondering whether the Holiday Inn is the best place to get dinner in Cody, Wyoming. However, this place sticks out in my mind, even many years later, as the most laughably awful dining experience I've ever had. Ever.
