Holiday Inn Arlington
3 reviews for Holiday Inn Arlington
Pretty nice looking for a holiday inn. Great location, walking distance to the metro. Clean, spacious room. Free wifi.
However, I was dissapointed with the service. I reserved my room which was guaranteed a king sized bed. And when I arrived, I was checked in (after waiting 10 minutes). I went up to the room to discover that there were two double beds. I called down to the man who checked me in and asked for a room with a king. He informed me that they didn't have any. When I inquired as to why he did not make me aware of this at checkin, since I was guaranteed a king, he simple replied that I did not ask. *insert expliatives* Then I asked for an extra blanket. He said that housekeeping had gone home, and he didn't have any. Uh, no extra blankets?? Well, I guess it sure was a good thing I had an extra bed that I could take the blanket off it. Very annoying experience.

Its located near a metro station, has lots of food choices around, and is also very close to The Ballston Common Mall...all very nice perks! The service was very good and the hotel was very nicely decorated and very clean! True it may just be another Holiday Inn but for it being my first time staying in this area, I would definitely stay here again!

Typical Holiday Inn. Within a couple blocks of a Metro station. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Under construction when I was there (Jan 2005), so there was only one working elevator, no fitness center, etc. They did give free entrance to a nearby Gold's Gym.
