1 review for Holiday Bowling Center & Lounge
This is THE NEW STUDIO 54! Located Steps away from the Dog Track. It Oozes CLASS.
Really though***I have no clue as to how I okayed stopping in here for a drink. When you walk into the "lounge" area you find it so hard to resist doing the "Elaine" on the 5x3 ft tiled floor reserved for dancing. A smaller sized Disco Ball above it and Multi-Colored lights. Sirius radio playing all of your favorite 70s Disco Nonstop. It smells and looks like a really old moldy basement. 2 Pool tables which if you KICK the sides really hard after you put your money in all of the balls just might come out.
I guess it was league night in the Bowling Alley as it was packed and no lanes were open. There aren't that many lanes to begin with.
There is a small restaurant attached. The sign said the special of the day was Meatloaf. I probably should have tried it. Experience has proven divey/older places like this have surprisingly tasty comfort food.
Cheap buckets of Beer $10 for 5.
1 star for being so strange another for making me laugh like I haven't in awhile.
