I just came here for lunch today. You know it's funny how you can work in the same group, but in different buildings and the foods that each group eats around campus are totally different. The engineering team brought me here today for the best "Swedish pancakes". So I have never had one before but you know what I discovered it was? It's just like a crepe. LOL. With this strawberry like butter. It was really good.

Then since everyone seemed to be ordering breakfast for lunch. Love the idea because I love breakfast for dinner normally. I got 2 eggs over easy with hash, Swedish pancake and a drink. It was delicious and I was totally enjoying it until... one of my coworkers ordered the fried chicken... and it looked amazing! Dang it. I need to go back and get the fried chicken.

Service was great, we had a party of 10 and the waitress was super accommodating in helping us get a large enough table and then switch tables to be closer after we had split up. Good experience all together.

Great value for its portions... not very consistent though. During my second visit, the hash was not as good and crispy. However, the swedish pancakes with lingonberry was sooooo good (thanks to the previous yelpers!) It definitely could be eaten as a dessert as well... it's a MUST ORDER dish. My favorite combo so far is the Combo #3? Eggs, hash and a choice of Swedish or buttermilk pancakes for 7 something.

I've also ordered the corn beef hash combo but that was okay.. I still love the corn beef hash I had in Oahu. Also ordered the fried chicken with gravy (home made) combo... the fried chicken itself didn't taste that great but the gravy was what I was crazy over.. the gravy is simply delicious!

Next time I return, I'll prolly just stick to just the hash/egg/pancakes/ combo since the rest of the combos are too heavy for the morning...

Update: We've come to the conclusion that this place is not consistent with their hash.. the hash was only done right the first time we went.. after that.. the texture wasn't the same anymore.. =(

This is one of the a few American food restaurant in the Bay Area, not European, and not Asian. However, there is no sign indicating about American food, I guess that an important reason why it's a little isolated.
They started since 1967, an American traditional family style coffee shop. At first, they were successful making their pancakes and waffle recipes. That's why it's all breakfast on their menu. Later on, they added lunch and dinner specials, which is pretty delicious as well. I recommend Blackened Snapper, slightly spicy, the key driving force for the appetide of the whole humongous plate.... and normal pricing. Besides, they also have chess cakes, much more adequate size compare to chesscake factory's. Over all, it's casual, relaxing, and "American" family style. :) They have four locations in the Bay Area. Call and find out.
