It's a shame they are really the only game in town, much of the staff are pompous jerks. You can tell they get some feel some weird sense of authority over people..
I had once a staff member follow me around after arguing about a really dumb rule (not dumb for them because they make money) about how I can't share a golf cart with my friend I went to golf with and they made us pay for our own cart when we didn't need two... and then as I was driving around to go to the restroom the guy stopped me and asked me where I was going... Extremely out of place... I was going to the bathroom so I told him that and asked if that was okay...
I wish I could say I won't return, but unfortunately they are the only remaining course in town.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kale W.Easton, MD4313May 29, 2023
The golf pro Rich Setter is the hardest working man I have ever known. I watched him give lessons to seniors then climbed a ladder to paint the building . This is an amazing golf course and the staff are just as amazing. Great course !!!

This is an excellent golf course. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves on our first visit and we will add this midway golf stop to our annual Ocean City retreat. The course was in great shape, though wet due to recent rain. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the lack of ball cleaners and towels at the tees.
The Cafe is excellent, offering locally sourced ingredients. All items are cooked fresh with love and a smile. I had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit that was excellent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathy D.MD, MD01Jul 20, 2021
We play this course daily. It is probably one of the best maintained golf courses we've ever played. The fairways are lush and the greens are pristine. The Championship course is challenging and fun to play. The Executive 9 hole course is as well kept as the 18 hole course, which is unheard of! There are challenges on the Executive course without it being overwhelming for beginners.
The staff is excellent for the most part. The wonderful lady who drives the beverage cart is about as sweet as she can be!! Rich Setter is the course Pro and he's both extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There is a small cafe that serves some food and alcohol at the turn but be prepared. The food prices are high. An ice chest is put out at hole 1 to fill your carts cooler. (No alcoholic beverages or outside coolers permitted).
This is a very well run public course. The only downside is that it tends to get extremely busy on weekends. But if you're not in a hurry and like a challenge for a reasonable rate, this one's for you!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Walker C.Westminster, MD63138258Jun 14, 2015
Great course and a very friendly staff. We have our Teamsters golf tournament here each Spring, and it's great!
The front nine holes are pretty open and it's bombs away. The back nine were trimmed through the trees, but it's not as tough as it sounds or looks on the scorecard. Most of the trees are beautiful, tall and mature, with the bottom 20 feet or so extending upwards, having no branchs. If you hit into them, although planted close together, you can play a low punch back into the fairway and still score.
Lastly, the driving range and practice green are decent. The pro shop is very nice as they carry a great selection of gear.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kate M.Sharptown, MD58144Jan 11, 2019
My boyfriend & I absolutely love this course. We have played it together several times. Twilight is well priced & always enjoy the well maintained course. The first time my boyfriend played this course, I rode with him & he shot par! One under on the front 9 & 1 over on the back 9! It was an exciting time.

Played here on 07.17.15 and enjoyed it. The course was in good condition and the pace of play was quick. There were several water stations on the course, and the staff was helpful. The only issue was the lack of a restroom on the course. You have to use the restroom next to the dining area or else risk it on the course.
My friends and I played at Queenstowne the following day, and I felt that Hog Neck was a better value. We paid $55 for one round in the morning and $20 for a replay in the afternoon at Hog Neck versus $94 for one round at Queenstowne.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Maureen C.Halethorpe, MD8354May 1, 2016
Played this course this past Saturday was extremely unimpressed. The course was not maintained well at all. The rough was a better lie than a fairway on almost every hole. The tee boxes were in very poor condition and very sandy and dirty. Overall, very sad that I spent the money. Will not be returning.

I was in the area for a little getaway and decided to out to the green and do nine holes. Everyone at the course were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The course it self wasn't horribly difficult but they need to stress to their players to fill in divots. Had a great time and they will be on my to do list next time I'm back down the shore.
