I try to avoid Hobby Lobby as much as possible, but sometimes there are things I need that I can only find here.
There are only 1-2 lanes open, and the checkout process is SO slow. Manually entering prices instead of upc codes is ridiculous, this is 2023!!
You have to have patience and a lot of time on your hands to purchase items.

Marcus in the framing department is THE BEST! I brought in a piece that they had previously framed and we had taken apart and then decided we wanted to hang again. Marcus cheerfully re-assembled it, thoroughly cleaning the glass and removing all finger prints. He sealed the back and reattached the wire and only charged me $5. He had it ready in 24 hours and provided excellent customer service all around. I have shopped at Hobby Lobby for years and have never been moved to write a review. They are blessed to have an employee like Marcus.

So I decided to get a head start on Easter supplies for my kiddo and obviously hobby lobby was the place to go, my complaint is that every time I step foot in this location I feel like I am being followed by employees, then when it's time to checkout I stroll my cart to the front and am being eyed down by who I presume is the manager. So odd, not very welcoming and I had a very rude cashier.

Oh how I've always loved Hobby Lobby! Over the years I have shopped at varies locations and never had problems. But honestly I have not seen such a dirty bathroom!! It was a huge turn off to think this indicates the way a store thinks and prioritizes cleanliness for its customers and staff. Most stores utilize the items in a store to decorate and make a restroom welcoming ( I've even taken ideas from floral arrangements in a hobby lobby restroom!!) This location needs a deep clean, fresh paint, new toilets and decor!!

As an Austin Native- I can genuinely recommend Hobby Lobby for all your photo needs. I came to the new location -William Cannon and South MopAc. Every time I visit I'm always greeted by Noel with the utmost respect and great customer care. I always feel appreciated as a faithful Hobby lobby customer.

Came in to purchase yellow feeder beads and noticed these beautiful pieces marked WAYYYY down and couldn't resist! I can't wait to create some sexy ass waist beads with these! Store was clean and well organzas well.

Special shout-out to Lilly (or Iris? Since I didn't write my review immediately but recall both names, 1 was our helper and the other was our cashier, I believe). Regardless, BIG THANKS to the Hobby Lobby helper who helped us find exactly what we were looking for!
My son needed "boxes" for a school project, but he didn't exactly articulate what type. The helper steered us to 2 different areas of boxes. Locating them easily from her directions, my son related that these weren't what he was sought. Found her again: she directed us to gift boxes, and "voila!" exactly what he wanted!
KUDOS to the person at Hobby Lobby who assisted us on 10/25/19 at 4:45pm-ish - timestamp is based on the pic I took/posted after we found what we were looking for. I knew there was a reason why I avoided this place, like the plague! (Oops too soon? Ask the all the maskless managers running around) but of course I had a craft emergency which both Joanns and Michaels were out, so I had to come here.
From the moment I step foot inside, I noticed (what I assume be a manager) an employee watching me.
*Take note, I have colored hair, tan/brown skin and had a darker toned outfit on.
I began my journey through hobby lobby with a shadow. I noticed him "checking in" every location I went. Dude never checked in to see if I needed help...even though I did...but that's besides the point. I should not feel discriminated based on my appearance to shop, if that's the case maybe y'all should have membership cards. (Not a stab at Costco, because I love Costco)
Seriously, if I wanted to take something from your cult of a store, I probably wouldn't have dressed the way I did...because obviously Santiago...yup got your name, took notice of my differences immediately. Funny, because when I asked for your name, the employee I asked didn't seem shocked.
I knew better, so I blame myself...so glad I didn't fall for the discounted mini donut maker because y'all ONLY took 12 dollars of mine.

I came in here with the lady to look for some items that she needed to make something for ME and to look for some replacement fake flowers and such for the front porch. Now normally I find Hobby Lobby to be quite boring with 15 people in line to check out of the one checker. In this location it seemed quite different. All items that we were seeking were found, and with this being a large store, there were quite a lot of items to look at and keep me entertained. As we entered the dreaded checkout area, it was moving quickly and one checker who had just closed, pulled her sign away and said she would take care of us. This was a first for me at Hobby Lobby and earned a second star. Follow this lead and we will be back! The selection seemed much wider than previous experience so it appears there has been some consolidation. We left in a good mood and a smile on our faces.

Rating is for customer service manager. On a Saturday morning, does nothing but watch 2 check out lines get backed up. After he directs me which line to get in, refuses to let me complete exchange because I'm not in the right line. So forced me to get to the back of the already long return line. My issue is for a "customer service" manager he should be helping the lines go by faster and jump on a register or offered to complete my transaction. Instead of just standing there doing nothing watching the lines back up. But apparently this manager must be above the work.
