The owner is really friendly and kind. She's also a salesperson. She'll offer you all kinds of food that you weren't planning on buying, upsell your friend to something that's paid by the pound and ends up costing $30, etc... so if you say yes, make sure you find out how much it costs first ;)

Being able to eat decent food between 1am-3am is nothing to scoff at, esp. if it's Thanksgiving and your family's dinner was so terrible that you had to head to a restaurant at midnight. However, the food itself didn't impress me that much. The honey walnut prawns are a combination of honey and mayonnaise that tastes much like sauce on a fast food hamburger. There's chicken in the egg flower soup.

I'm always intrigued, and often amused by many of the reviews on here. Especially, the number of times people will knock a restaurant based on one dish, often the wrong one. Someone will go to a sushi restaurant, admit they don't like sushi, and also admit they ordered the fettuccine alfredo, then rip the restaurant because they didn't like it. WTF?? Don't judge a restaurant on what they do worst, judge them by what they do best. Which leads us to:

Rule #1......every good restaurant has at lease one knock-your-sox off dish, that's head and shoulders above everything else on the menu. Then there's usually another 5-10 that are exceptional. The rest are because people come in groups, and on dates, and not everybody's going to want what's good, they just want what they want.

Rule #2, in order to find out what's exceptional, you've got to make it a point to get to know the people......ie, chef, owner, manager, etc. When they tell you what the best thing on the menu is, order it. If it don't float your boat, tell them, and come back a 2cnd time, and try another. If you're still not impressed......punt.

That said...go here and order the "Chicken on Hot Iron". Big portions of fresh, all white meat chicken done with black pepper. Drop it on a sizzling iron (think fajita's) with piles of really fresh vegetables (green peppers, onions, celery, etc...it doesn't come with broccoli, but they'll add it if you ask) , and the vegetables will "melt" with the chicken juice to create it's own sauce without any oil. Nothing added, no grease, healthy, and loaded with flavor & texture. If this doesn't rock your world, seek immediate professional therapy. One of my 5 fav dishes in Seattle now that Cafe Phoenicia's closed.

Get to know Pauline, she's a sweet heart, and very helpful. Try the crispy Halibut if for some reason you don't eat chicken.

-Arrived at 730pm and got seated right the way.
-Waited at least 15 minutes and I have to single the waiter to take my orders
-Waited for at least 25 minutes before a single dish show up

Orders:
-Fish fillet with broccoli: Good
-Sizzling onion with beef: Very oily but tasty
-Steamed Chicken with vegetable: A bit salty but still tasty

Everything I had was horrible, down to the salt and pepper tofu which seemed more like mozzarella sticks.  The char siu appetizer was fine, but the same can be said for any number of nearby, cheaper restaurants with more casual atmospheres.  Perhaps the seafood is what makes the place great; nothing I tried was.

Chinatown restaurants are so dependable after regular dinner hours.  We arrived to the restaurant around 9 p.m. and there were a few parties in the restaurant. I was surprised by the amount of people that came in after we had to start their dinner. I guess Asians like to eat later?

Ho Ho was recommended by my friend so my bf and I decided to eat here after a long hike at Mount Rainier. There is absolutely no correlation between the mountain and the restaurant, I was just really craving some Asian food and specifically something with broth in it.

I ordered the bbq duck with won ton noodle soup and my bf had the beef brisket with won ton noodle soup. We were both very satisfied with our meal! The service was pretty good, the boss lady (I assume) was very friendly and encouraged us to visit the restaurant again.

As for the food, the soup was a little on the salty side but the portion was good. There was bok choy in the soup as well and lots of won tons which we liked.

I would definitely come back for another meal!

Ho-Ho!!!! Just one of those late-night-after- the- club-restaurants..

We ordered the usuals:
Honey Prawns
Garlic Chicken
Some jelly fish thing - that my friend loved!
Fried Rice
Noodles
Crispy sesame sweet n sour chicken
Soup

Okay, 1st, fried rice is like my main dish and i did not like it cause it tasted like it had so much soy sauce in it!!  That soy sauce flavor.. ehh- too much man!
2nd-The prawns were yummy because there wasn't lot of the cream sauce. I could actually see the shrimp and not just all cream - don't you hate that when they are just too creamy?
3rd - I felt like I was not  being a good yelp elite when I said "no" when my friend asked me to try to Jellyfish thing she was eating...*sigh.
The crispy chicken thing we ordered was too much for me... It basically tasted like crispy orange chicken but like with massive sauce on it. Am I exaggerating? That's how I feel... I would come back though --to second these opinions :)

Oh but I realllllly liked the hot and sour soup! mmmmm... love soups!

The restaurant was clean and there wasn't  huge crowds coming through the door like at Purple Dot and at Honey Court. Employees were very nice and they were helpful and patient.

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in the world. The food is always fresh, fast and delicious. From the mouth watering dungeness crab with ginger and green onion, the fried tofu, lobster with black bean sauce, crispy halibut, salt and pepper prawns, steamed live ling cod, or the fresh pacific geoduck. If you go during the spot prawn season, please order them, do yourself a favor and give yourself a little tastes of  heaven. This place rock!!!

The service is also excellent, friendly and attentive.

Really 4 star food, 5 star prices, and I've had some of my best and worst service experiences here between 2-5 stars.  But 3.5 stars is ridiculous for this place.  Garlic spare ribs are amazing.  The owner is so nice, just watch out for the others....  If it's not an old lady, sorry.  5 stars to bump it up, but really a 4 star place. Oh wait!  I forgot about the amazing prices!.  OK, solid 5 stars

I feel bad for forsaking New Star. I have to disagree with another reviewer whose review had the tone of " No actual chinese food".

We decided to be adventuresome and order the salted fish, tofu and chicken hotpot and  I'll let my sister know- she has never ordered this. IF she did she would know and never forget. she is mistaken. Now yelp knows how mistaken my sixteen year old sister is and all people know that a sixteen year old understand all aspects of everyone else's day because they have reached a level of understanding beyond a14 year olds they MUST BE GODS.

Anyway salted fish, tofu chicken hot pot,, our waiter tried to warn us it had a strong smell we said " ooh good!" trying to let him know we were not wussy.

Then it came.

After the gentle lull of complimentary long grain white rice,  a huge bowl of westlake beef soup and tea , it came.

The Chinese couple next to us said, " What IS that smell?!" Oh it had a smell. It was also tasty but the smell was like a natural defense mechanism- if a prepared dish can have one.  It  had an odor.  But our waiter was watching us , so as if dared and foolishly trying to establish ID cred we not only ate what was on our plates- we had seconds.

Even though it was slippery- I ate that sucker with CHOPSTICKS. Booyah. But never again- I hate wasting food but I had to throw away the leftovers because I'm pretty sure most people are not as adventurous as I was and if I gave it to a guy standing on the side of the road...we'd be hit by lightning before we got home.

Just to stress it- it does not taste bad. It's salty, tofu-y, chicken hot pot, the trick is getting it into your mouth without gagging.

This all sounds like bad press but everything was pretty good, hot and brought out in a timely fashion, if I were to complain about something I had not brought on myself I would say that they didn't  have bubble tea.

" We don't have bubble tea today", um I know tapioca pearls aren't a seasonal fruit so what gives man? they just don't like making it after lunch- I know thats it, in my BONES.  But other than that polite  service, speedy food deliverage   , and a very varied menu.

Totally drunk & totally sober I have been a customer of Ho Ho since about 7 years ago.  I have the other nearby holes in the walls, and Ho Ho is still a favorite for din din in China Town.

The Food:
* For Seattle standards, from my experiences, the portions are large and usually consistent in quality.
* The family meals, ranging around $120 - $180, are highly recommended for large groups.  The food comes out in waves, and even the largest table will get totally occupied of plates.
* Peking Duck = possibly the best around
* Pork Hook & Jelly Fish = try it if you haven't
* Steamed Clams = they were cooked perfectly
* Everything else I remember is great: Almond Chicken, Salted Fish Fried Rice (too salty for some), Beef Fried Rice, etc.

The Setting & Service:
* Like all Chinese restaurants, the staff can get overloaded, and all that rice "little Billy" threw around will be left all over the floor.
* First time I've had five-star-service at a Chinese restaurant!  Thanks Pauline.
* The remodeling has made Ho Ho one of the nicer and more modern spots.

I don't expect consistent food quality or even good service in China town; however Ho Ho has never done me wrong.

BTW: When it's hard to find parking I'd just park at Uwajimaya (buy something afterwards to cover the parking).

Ho Ho Seafood is quite good. The dishes are authentic and very flavorful. The jellyfish was quite good, and the sharkfin soup was tastier than I thought it would be (1st time I tried sharkfin soup). The pigeon, although it looks unappealing to my western eyes, was how I imagine it was supposed to taste. The cooks did an excellent job of bringing out the flavor of each dish.

The owner worked tirelessly to insure our group was content with what we ordered. Her presence around the restaurant speaks volumes about how dedicated she is to making sure the customers were happy. She came over to make sure everything was presented correctly, make sure we were happy with what we ordered, and answered questions about the various exotic dishes we ordered. It is great to hear her asking for feedback.

Ho Ho Seafood is awesome. They do some of the best BBQ pork (and regular pork) chow mein. Hong Kong style is great, with the crispy lightly fried noodles, topped with the special chow mein sauce. They also do a nice, slightly spicy Hot and Sour soup. Most places do Hot and Sour soup, but it's not quite the same.

Take out orders are fast and ready when we arrive. We do call ahead and keep the menu in our car. Lunch takeout includes the soup, egg roll, and all the goodies that you'd get if you ate at the restaurant.

Service is pretty good. You're not pampered here, but they always fill water glasses and keep the tea pot full.

The best part is the pricing. My chow mein which can feed a hungry 2 people is just $6.50. Less than I pay for lunch at the typical work cafeteria and the food is much better.

My family ate here Sunday and we loved the meal.  We ordered off the specials menu and had a delicious salt and pepper dungeness  crab and a whole rockfish (crispy not steamed) and they had us licking our fingers.  We couldn't decide which we liked better.  We also had the Chinese green beans sauteed with pork.  The owner(?) was very welcoming and warm.  We will come again with a bigger group so we can try more dishes!

I like this place.  We come here from time to time and we had a small gathering here this past weekend.  The service is excellent and the food is good.  Ever since they remodeled.  The place is clean and pretty modern.  They even recently had a external face lift.  The owner runs the show and she makes sure everything is perfect.  We come enough so that the owner knows us by name.  She seems very genuine and will take care of any problem that arises.  She runs the place as if she was in the shoes of the customer.  The price is pretty good too so this is why they got 5 stars.  Keep an eye out for buy 1 get 1 free Entertainment Book coupon to sweeten the deal.

The twelve year old in me has always wanted to try Ho Ho purely for the name.  But after lunch there a while back I realized that Ho Ho is a big NO NO in my book.

The pepper salted prawns in shell while sounding delicious weren't plus they are a pain to eat.  The honey walnut prawns were goopy and too sweet.  The sweet and sour pork looked nothing like sweet and sour pork I've ever had before.  All the food was bleh it lacked any seasoning or flavor I had to ask for the chili sauce to give my mouth something to taste. Besides the food the service was lack luster, we couldn't get anyone to come to our table to refill our water or provide more napkins so I took it upon myself to get what I needed and was scolded.  Another place in the ID I don't think I'll be heading back to any time soon.

The service was great! The server was pleasant and our food only took about 10min to arrive, though we did go to the restaurant around 5pm. We ordered yummy honey walnut prawns, general tso's chicken, green beans with fried ground pork and the seafood fried rice. The prawns and chicken were perfect! They were nice and crispy and not too greasy. Pretty much all of our dishes tasted fresh and delicious! My boyfriend and I will go back and try more of the seafood dishes :)

Ok so my hubby and I went herte last night for the first time..When you walk in you think "SCORE!" smell's good, looks good etc.
You sit down and the waitress is SUPER nice at first make you want to buy stuff you know you really didn't want..she's very good at selling.
My husband and I decided to get something we both knew this way we would be able to compare..He had Moo Shu chicken  AMAZING and, I had General Tso's chicken..i asked for it mild...which i know can be done since ive done it numerous times before in a different restaurant..When we got our food is was SUPER fresh and hot..we got a lot of rice which i loved but mine was spicy..i tried 3 peices hope that maybe it was the heat of being cooked..nope!  It was spicy , when i finally was able to grab the waitress' attention she gave me a dirty look and brought out sesame chicken instead..obviously not trusting my judgement that the cook made a mistake. Another big one was i ordered rootbeer to drink..i set my cup by the egde to they would notice and it took 1/2 an hour for them to notice and then 10 for them to bring the drink back.!  thats horrible to me..Not once were we asked how everything was either...When the check came i got really pissy..They had charged me for a whole plate and then a half plate! plus the other items we ordered..

So the food was good..if i liked spicy the general tso's was amazing..The service was absolutley horrid though!!  I may try it again early in the day hopefully the same servers wont be there..But probably not..it really was a waste of money..

Was in Seattle and worked late. Searched my Tom-Tom to find some food along the way back to hotel, and I found a few Chinese restaurants.
I mean, it was LATE... like 12? 1? So I was happy for anything that was still opened.

But hey, the food was nice. And it is not because I was starving - I went there the second night and I still liked it. Fried beef rice noodle was great. This is like a must-eat dish for cantonese cuisine, and they did it well.

If I can give out a 3.5 stars, I would, just to be fair with the restaurants up in Vancouver... but yea, 4 stars for Seattle.

I've come here a few times--always late night--and have consistently been pleased by both their food and service. They already get plus points for being a late-night establishment. Cause when you get hungering for some Chinese at the weirdest hours, you NEED to satisfy it and nothing else would do.

The lady there is suuuper nice, too. Friendly and personable but not too in-your-face, especially for a Chinese restaurant, which is not famous for the most friendliest service (take Purple Dot across the street, for example). She'd always make suggestions first by asking your preferences. She takes "taking order" to the next level, by asking specifically how you like each dish to be cooked. Deep fried tofu, or soft? More soupy, drier? etc. etc. And she does all this even at the ungodly hours of 2 or 3 in the morning.

Portion is very generous. Last time I went with just one other person, we ordered 3 dishes: bad move. So much leftovers, it looked like we got a take-out order. Seafood here is done really well, fried fish being my favorite. But really what kept me coming back is, again, the service. It is SO important to me that it makes me happy when businesses actually care to 'serve' their customers.

I came here after an event with a large group of friends, and the management was very accommodating of us.  We over ordered and asked if they could take some of the food back, but the owner gave the dish back and said that we wouldn't be charged for it.  That definitely was sweet of her.

The overall quality of food here is great.  You gotta try their green bean dish.  I definitely am not a vegetarian, but the green beans were like crack.  The only thing that I would complain about would be parking, but then again parking anywhere in Seattle's chinatown is hard as hell.

The only food that I like would be the sweet and sour chicken, but it's strange because they make the sauce yellow, not red....
it disappointed me when they wouldn't replace a dish for tofu in the combo meal. I didn't really enjoy anything in there. My dad said that we would never dine there again
plus, i yelled I hate this restaurant right after  I got out of it. Strange.
Also, they gave my dad 2 dollars in change when they were suppose to give him $12

OH HELL NO! 3 1/2 stars ???WHAT?This is the best Chinese restaurant in my book!! When I go here I always get the 48 dollar combo.Which comes wit (Warning this is going to be a looonngg list)
some kind of soup which I forgot the name because I usually substitute it for the hot and sour soup which is nice and hot to start off the meal.Salt and pepper fried tofu is sooo good, crispy skin on the outside and super soft tofu inside(p.s. be careful the inside is very hot I have burned my tongue many times!!!!You Won't Be Able To Taste The Rest Of The Great Dishes! On the combo it is duck feet so you have to substitute for the tofu!) .Also the combo has its orange spare ribs but I substitute it for the salt and pepper spare ribs which is tender and awesome. Clams in black bean sauce varys alot sometimes the clams r really good and sometimes it seems like the clams are really fishy.Steamed salty(I think its salty chicken I am not sure ,I never get to the chicken because theirs soo much food)chicken but I think I had a bite before and it was nice & soft but nothing special.Bok choy umm I never touch the vegetables when theirs sooo much meat!!haha! fried halibut with soy sauce is soo crispy and delicious.Regular salt and pepper shrimp was really good when I first tried them but when I learned about the salt and pepper large live spot prawns it blew my mind!it is soooo sooo excellent, perfect balance between the seasoning and soo crunchy I can eat the legs and skin yum!!!(p.s. the live spot prawns is not in the combo only the regular shrimp).I can't keep going on with this review my mouth is watering all over the place but I have soo many other dishes to talk about like the lobster AMAZING peking duck and sooo much more soo I will re review later :) :) :)

Ho Ho is authentic Cantonese, and so far, it's the best I've found in Seattle since I moved here in 2006. I was born in HK, and our family is pretty picky when it comes to Chinese. My parents usually eat at Ho Ho 3-4 times each time they come to visit for a week. My favorites are: any live steamed fish, oysters with ginger/onions on a sizzling plate, ong choy stir fried with shimp paste and garlic, and two-types of squid Malaysian style,  geoduck with black bean sauce, salty fish fried rice with chicken, and boiled live shrimp. Pauline  (the owner) and Ming are very friendly and no matter how busy it is, the servers respond and try to get food on the table quickly.

You know a place isn't great when you don't enjoy the food while drunk.  It was a late night and my friends and I had to sober up another friend, and when the the group vetoed Purple Dot, we decided to go to Ho Ho.  I usually always have a good experience when I go for dinner with the family, but this time was different.  My spidey sense tingled when I entered the restaurant at 2AM and no one was there, it was a Saturday night, something was wrong....but ignoring intuition, we sat down anyways.  The waitress was super friendly and was quick to give us recommendations.  We got a bunch of stuff, congee, seafood chowmein, beef chowfun, and hot pepper chicken.  And the 2 stars above say it all, "Meh. I've experienced better."  It was not like crack at all, I felt no need to sell myself just to experience my next bite.  I don't know what it was, but it tasted like it came from a Safeway deli.  The best dish was the congee, I know right, the most basic of the dishes.  I was greatly disappointed to end my night on this note.  BUT, to be fair, I'm pretty sure they step it up for where it counts, dinnertime.  So if you're gonna go, definitely go during dinner, and save the late night excursions for Honey Court.

When you enter the Ho Ho, do yourself a favor and keep your eyes fixed forward, because if you glance to your left, you'll have night terrors for weeks. It's a fairly common Chinese restaurant sight at first, a big tank full of crabs. That's fine. But reigning over all the crabs is the monstrous abomination that is the Alaskan king crab. I had never seen one of these alive before. It looks like something out of War of the Worlds, huge and armored with giant mecha-legs. I couldn't stop staring, and I think it looked at me. . . .

Oh, the food? Once I got out of range of the destroyer-crab, our meal was delicious. The Peking duck is definately a must, as is the fried rock cod. And we had a salt and pepper fried crab dish that was sweet, succulent, and only kind of brought back the image of the murderous crab beast to my mind. If you want delectible, authentic Chinese seafood and something to terrify the kiddies, Ho Ho is perfect.

I've eaten here before and thought it was pretty good. But then I ate here again over the weekend and it was pretty damn good. Ho Ho is one of the authentics of Chinatown and they seemed to have gotten better in taste and service.

Try these dishes while you're there:

Duck and rice noodle soup (you won't be disappointed)
Salt and Pepper chicken wings (one place that does it right)
Beef chow fun (staple noodle dish)

HoHo is seriously just your average Cantonese place in the ID that sort of caters to American taste. I was surprised by all the "this is the best Chinese place ever" type of reviews.

The general menu selection is standard. The lunch combos include an entree (General Tso's chicken, mongolian beef, vegetable chow mien, mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, and the like), fried or steamed rice, an egg roll, soup, and a fortune cookie. When it comes to quality of lunch food, the Chinese lunch line at the Waj is probably better.

I've been here for lunch and dinner several times, and nothing here is that great.

Service is decent.

As a note, neither positive or negative, the interior and music are VERY Chinese. You will hear music you really only expect to hear around Chinese New Year or in old Chinese people homes.

I've been to Ho Ho off and on throughout the years.   This review will be based off of my most two distinct memories of the place.

The first time, I was with a buddy on the way to a Sonics game.   We order about 4 dishes and rice.  The waiter comes back with a sad look on his face and tells us that they've run out of white rice and will substitute fried rice instead at no additional charge.  WHAT?!!  What type of chinese restaurant runs out of white rice?  Minus one star!

Second time is going with a friend of the family in a big party.  She orders this funky dish with lots of shrimp sauce.  For those of you that do not know what this is, it's fermented shrimp.  YOW!  You think fish sauce smells!  KAPOW, KA-PING!  No Mo appetite.  Minus another star.

Oh, and to top it off, a steamed fish dish comes that I swear is tilapia.  The woman across me scarfs it down and exclaims it is the best rock cod she's had in years and that restaurants hardly serve it anymore.  I pipe up and say it tastes kind of muddy, I think it's tilapia.  The waitress comes out and I ask her what it is.  She says it's "chinese cod".  The woman across from me bolts out of her chair and says,  "See, I know what I'm talking about!".  I ask the waitress, "Chinese cod?  I've never heard of that before."  She says, "Oh, most people call it tilapia."

Yeah, baby!

What can I say about Ho Ho's Seafood Restaurant....AMAZING, GREAT, AWESOME.....did i already say AMAZING...well i am gonna say it again....AMAZING. I love it here. Service is alright, but who expects good service at an Asian Restaurant....DAMN...I am craving for their PEA VINES, SALT and PEPPER PRAWNS or CHICKEN WINGS, HONEY WALNUT PRAWNS, SHARK FIN SOUP, SALTED FISH and CHICKEN FRIED RICE,BARBECUED DUCK with PLUM SAUCE.... ...YUM! I want more!!!! and for those who didn't have a pleasant meal here..you are expecting too much from an Asian restaurant. If I could..I would come here everyday...The owner is also a very nice and generous person..she always knows what I want....What more can I say. This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Chinatown Seattle..i am definitely coming again SOON!!!!!

Had a good meal with family here about two weeks ago.   Very good experience, though we sat in the smaller room on the left, where some of the staff were eating (and talking very loudly).

I wasn't expecting it to be this good but almost every dish was excellent including the long green beans in garlic sauce, the crispy skin chicken, mussels).

Not a cavernous restaurant, as some of the Chinese restaurants in the ID tend to be (think China Gate or House of Hong).

Very reasonably priced, high quality.

Where do you go when you want Chinese food at midnight?  The International District or the University District.  After much debate, a couple on our team went down to the ID and ended up at Ho Ho.  So much for getting food close to work!

So we got take out - can't make any comments on dine in - and no one would share so I only got to taste what I ordered and hear comments.

I had a craving for Mu Shu Pork.  It was 9.95 and sounded standard price.  When it came, there were 4 Peking doilies (pancakes) which is pretty standard, plum sauce and a ton of Mu Shu Pork.  I could only stuff half of it in the 4 Peking doilies.  It was tasty, not the most flavorful that I have ever had, but definitely tasty.  More like a homemade taste then the standard restaurant fare I have had.

One guy got the Beef Brisket and asked for Spicy and said it wasn't - I don't know with him, he is Thai and it could have been exuding flames and still not been spicy in his book.  But, I knocked it down a star for that.

It sounds interesting and I definitely have it on my list of places to try in person and then we can adjust the stars accordingly.

wow... so many jokes came out of this place's name. i've been coming here since High School- after school dances or the club. the food is consistently average- nothing stands out too much except for the Peking Duck. (which i don't consume)

the dancing sea creatures in the water tanks scare the crap out of me. i don't dislike this place- but i'm not dazzled by it. i'd rather dine at the other establishments across the street.

Good food, large portions. Their lunch specials are less that $5 and come with a spring roll and soup. Quite a good deal.

did they change the cooks? I order from them all the time, for about 7 years, and then was away on business, so havent had them in 5 month, and had the same dish I had for 5 years, and tasted...different. Also, t sauce was different, and some ingridents were missing. I didnt see the usual waiters either. Or did I just came in on a bad day?

One of the better Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. It's kind of small inside (they seem to only leave half of the room opened) but it's never too crowded. I've gone here several times and the friendly waitress is so nice and kind. She always remembers our faces and gives us great deals on food. We go there so often so sometimes she will give us half off on shark fin soup or free slushies that are VERY delicious! I love how not many drunk and crazy people go here after the clubs during the weekends. I don't want to eat next to someone who is throwing up in their soup bowl.

The dishes that I think are excellent:
Salt and pepper chicken wings
BBQ duck
Pea vines
Honey Walnut prawns
Chown fun with egg sauce
Preserved egg and pork congee

I know there's more but I can't think of them all right now!

I have a love-hate relationship with Ho Ho. I truly like the food, the jelly fish appetizer is the best jelly fish in town. The Peking duck is to die for. When the live shrimp season starts we usually end up there more often as my wife cannot get enough of live shrimp. As HO HO has remodeled in the last couple of years, even the interior is now decent. Gone are the dust covered pink flamingos and other hideous stuffed animals. The only reason why I cannot bring myself to go back more often is the overly friendly owner. I guess she cannot help it but I still cringe when the tilapia dish being served is advertised as " I picked the best fish for you". The problem was there was only one fish left in the tank so of course it was the best fish. The same thing with the last open table we got once.: "I picked you a very nice table!"
