I was not sure to expoect when I recently stayed here for a conference. We ate breakfast and lunch, slept and conferenced here and I would have to say that this place is quite nice. The bath products are from bath and body works, there are plenty of cable channels, the beds are comfy with about 12 pillows. The catered meals were healthy and delicious.
My only complaint was the night staff seemed to care very little for the guests (i.e. when I asked for a glass of water, he grufly replied that there was a vending machine). Moreover, there was no binder for restaurant recommendations in the area and the "concierge" did not help in this matter.
I gave this place 4 stars because it's historic, cute, the rooms are comfy and the catered food was very good. However, the concierge needs some improvement.
