6 reviews for Hilton Wilmington-Christiana
Traveled to the Newark, DE for business and this hotel proved to be a solid choice.
-Pleasant setting, as hotel surrounded by a Swan pond and grass. I didn't get to see the Royal Swan Feeding, which apparently happens everyday. Interesting idea...
-Parking easy and access to 95 convenient.
-Hotel staff helpful, friendly and welcoming.
-Food at the Brasserie Grill is decent.
-Room service OK.
-Breakfast buffet outstanding!
-Business center ultra convenient for printing my last minute meeting items.
-Cool little bar located near lobby to help unwind from a busy day.
-Clean room and fabulous feather bed!

The best beds ever! The featherbeds are amazing. There is no such thing as uncomfortable in these beds. There is nothing major going on in the hotel, unless there is a wedding reception. But it is the perfect hotel for a relaxing weekend away from the City.
It's located in a quiet little part of Delaware, where I visit friends. The hotel is comfortable, clean, with a nice little bar and courtyard where you can have a drink and relax. There is a local bar across the road and a few bars around the area if you are visiting friends.
It's great just to relax and sit and watch the swans and have a great night's sleep.
One of my favorite hotels. They have feather beds, which immediately wins me over wherever I go. The also have swans but be careful because they're angry creatures and will probably bite your hand off if you step too close. The courtyard is beautiful and they have a decent breakfast buffet. I'll go back just to fall asleep on a feather bed again.

There are a lot of hotels in this particular area and the Hilton is the best. Your other options are along the lines of EconoLodges and Courtyards, just so you get the picture.
The hotel is a few stories and is one large square. When you check in, ask them where to park your car and unload your stuff because if you enter on the wrong side of the building, you'll be walking in a complete circle (well, in this case, a square).
The rooms are very nice and have been recently remodeled. The lighting leaves a bit to be desired. The bathroom is a bit tiny but very modern with metal accents and a marble countertop. I think the shower was marble as well. Large gold and brown pillows decorate the bed and match the chairs.
They a gym with new models of one elliptical trainer and 2 or 3 treadmills as well as a bench, free weights, and stability ball. They also have towels and water available. The gym is directly across from the pool which is near an outdoor gazebo (I guess they have weddings here?)
There was a small problem with my room but the staff took care of it faster than I could imagine. The staff is by far the best trained staff I could hope for.
