9 reviews for Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center
My Rotary club meets here when we can't get space at our regular location (Tukwila Doubletree). The location is easy, they give us vouchers for parking, and the meeting rooms are beautiful - I spend a few minutes gazing at the pretty lights everytime I come here!
So, in all honesty, I haven't spent the night - BUT the food is truly fantastic. Today we were treated to Caesar salad (which was perfectly crispy and dressing with just the right amount of tang), an anti-pasta platter with lots of salami, cheese, and veggies to choose from, bread, penne with chicken and Alfredo sauce, and a seemingly yummy vegetarian lasagna.
The meeting rooms are great - as is the convention space. I think that if you attend a meeting they generally validate your parking (this has been true for me at both Chamber of Commerce events and the Rotary). Parking is plentiful!

This place SUCKS!
So i get there and park. Mind you were are 15-20 minutes from downtown Seattle, parking should be damn near Free!
NOPE $20 per day! F'you Paris!
I park the car and begin th walk to the lobby, which i had to find using my spidey sense since there were no maps or anything directing me where to go. I finally get there after tracking though several footballl fields of 1990's decor hell.
The registration desk was this tiny area tucked away at the farthest corner. Where am I Ikea? I just want to check in dammit, I don;t need your Poleng chair.
We get our room and it is inthe farthest bulding from where we are. So i lug my 50lb luggage with a broken wheel down another 2 football field lengths to the room. The room was nice, and the bed was good. The TV for $180/night was crap. plus no free internet.
Then they clean my room and replace my plush bathroom towels with punk ass pool towels. Its like wiping my ass with sand paper.
Hilton step up your game you suck!

Free shuttle. Super friendly staff. Close to the airport. I can leave my car here and they will pick me up at the airport when I get back. Restaurant in the hotel that has a bar.
I took a star off because Paris didn't get a life sentence...

I had my wedding reception here at the Hilton airport & conference center.
I checked into my suite the night before the wedding. I go up to my suite to find out I had a suite and an extra room. I called the front desk and they told me that it was on my wedding contract & I would be paying for that extra room. I tried calling my wedding coordinator that they provided me but unfortunately, it was kinda late and she didn't answer. So I couldn't sleep thinking about my wedding and this extra room I would have to pay for that no one was using. I called the front desk and asked for the manager. I explained to him the situation. I think because I told him I was getting married the next day & how stressed out I was, that he took care of it and took off the charge for the extra room and I just had to drop off the key.
Other than that misunderstanding, the reception in the conference center was beautiful :) The food at Spencers was yummy & so was the alcohol :) The employees were very nice & helpful.

4/9 update
Attended a West Coast Swing dance competition. http://www.seattlewcsw...
The hotel rooms are confusing, there are separate buildings with same numbers, so make sure you know your building, not just your room number. The sleeping rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny, no, outside of the bathroom sink and vanity, which I prefer. Love the beds and bedding, high thread count sheets. Front desk staff was not friendly or helpful, they don't offer the customer service that a 4 star hotel should offer.
The saving grace of this place is the Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet for $30 pp. It isn't large but it is very nice, the shrimp are huge, jumbo and peeled and the Alaskan king crab are cut properly, down the center, length wise to get out the meat easily. Choices of freshly made omelets and eggs, make your own Belgian waffle, and a carvery of pork, ham and beef. The dessert bar had the usual cakes and tortes and chocolate fondue but the mousse and creme brulee were the winners. The staff was attentive and on the ball.
They have a small coffee kiosk, the only other dining is the Spencer's steak house which is good but pricey, no coffee shop.
The convention center is a huge trek from the hotel, on the second floor, there is one portion where you have to go outside, it is covered but the ground gets wet, bad for suede bottom dance shoes.
Next to the airport and you didn't hear the planes, a block from a 24hr rest. called 13 Coins, great meat options and pricey, about a half mile down is a Safeway grocery store.

Got a convention rate of $109 in April. Will be checking it out, got a half rate on parking of $9 a day. I hate paying for hotel parking. But it is close to the airport, so a free shuttle.

Went here for the 2008 Seattle Salsa Congress. It's not a big convention center, but it worked well for the Salsa Congress. The place is clean and new-looking. Parking is $10 with no in/out privileges.

Friendly staff but just a run of the mill Airport hotel at the end of the day. No mini bar, mini-fridge or any other amenities that you'd expect in an upper tier hotel. I'd skip it and go with a second tier hotel where you'll likely get the same look/feel to the room and not have to shell out $13 a day for internet and the other add-on's that higher end hotels seem to charge for.
The hotel experience is nothing to write home about, but for practical purposes, this hotel is great. Basically, it's a place to sleep before your flight that takes off at some ungodly hour. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport, which means that rather than getting up and driving yourself to the airport, you can roll out of bed and out to the shuttle in a matter of minutes. You can park your car at the Hilton for a week for $50 which really beats the airport parking prices! Too bad our shuttle driver decided to blast loud music at 4am, but hey, I was wide awake by the time I got to the airport. I think I'd like the hotel more if the restaurant was better, but I'll save my comments on the restaurant for it's own review.

You have no idea how much I hate the idea of giving Paris Hilton and her plastic family any money, but I needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning departure and this place had a deal. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this place was even though the airport is pretty much across the street. This place is so big, we got lost trying to find the room! Great for business travelers or those wanting a quiet place near the airport. The decor is pretty standard but the place was clean with no stinky smells and we got a room with two king sized beds so I'm not complaining. Spencers is the restaurant in the hotel and it was nose-bleeding expensive but the steak was tasty. The tab on the dinner cost more than the room. Free shuttles to the airport too. Not bad even though I had to listen to a loudmouth Texan and his family at 4:30am in the morning and I wanted to kick him in the slats by the time we got to the terminal 8 minutes later....I would stay there again rather than taking 2 hours to get to Sea-tac from Port Townsend for a 6am flight!!!
