The Hilton in ghetto-fabulous San Berdo has a restaurant, which they call "The Manhattan Gril." For some reason, it's a favorite of the older generation in the area (Loma Linda, Redlands, etc.). That's how I get stuck going here...

We frequent the $25 brunch. I really wish we wouldn't. The $25 covers a buffet and any drink... mimosas, sparking wine (which they refer to as "champagne" - Asti isn't from France, dumb a$$), cider, fruit juices and WEAK coffee. The buffet offers shriveled French toast, Egg Beater-like eggs, slimey and soapy-tasting lox, crab legs, pastries, rubbery fruit, blah blah blah, etc etc.

If you want to spend $25 on a brunch, try Martha Green's or somewhere else, where the food doesn't cause you to pucker and contort your face in disgust. (Great service, though! That MUST be why they charge so much.)

First stay at any Hilton hotel. Probably not the best for a first timer.

It was aged. Plain. Nothing fancy. I was at least expecting a mini fridge, I've stayed at lesser named hotels in middle of no where Arizona that had. The shower was terrible, we had a hard time getting it past luke warm.

Friendly staff, it was clean. I just would of thought a Hilton would of been..  nicer? (It is in San Bernardino, So I shouldn't of expected much. Silly me.)

It was bad enough that I had to spend the night in San Bernardino but this place just rubbed salt in that wound!

I stayed here once on a business trip. I thought I was going to be treating myself to something nicer since I hate the Inland Empire and had stayed at a really crummy motel the last few times I was in the area. Boy, was I wrong!

When I checked in, the staff let me know that there wouldn't be any hot water for a few hours. I said that was alright but emphatically urged them to assure me that hot water would be available in the morning when I woke up. They told me that it would definitely be fine.

I got  to my room and the smell of sewage in there was overpowering. The person at the desk said it would go away shortly. I opened a window and left the hotel to try to find an acceptable place to relax with a few drinks and avoid the gang members and fascists cops that plague this city. Not much luck in that area but at least when I got back the horrible odor had dissipated.

When I woke up the next morning to find that my only option was a bracing cold shower, I was horrified. Hot water is one of the most basic requirements for lodging. Even the dive motels I stay at always have hot water -- and this is a Hilton for chrissakes!

I complained to the staff and completely dismissive and acted like this was normal and I should have been used to a cold shower in the middle of winter. I demanded my money back because I specifically told the person who checked me in that I would need to find another place to stay if there was even a chance that the water wouldn't be hot but was assured it would be okay. Of course, these rude people thought I was insane and just laughed at me.

I recognize that the misery of this experience is amplified because I really, really don't like having to be in San Bernardino. Ever.

If you are reading this because you need to stay in this area, I highly recommend downtown Riverside instead of S.B. It's no picnic there either but at least there are a few places to have dinner or drinks are relatively decent and there are more lodging options.

This hotel is truly amazing. Great service especially the front desk  in the morning. If your going to San Bernardino this is the BEST place to stay. I stay here every week on business and i wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks for everything.

Woohoo! As good as it gets!

Wow, glad I did not read the other reviews before deciding to stay here. The place is pretty good. The bed was very comfortable, the room a reasonable size, the cleaning service did a good job -with one major exception discussed below. Some nice details were the little coffee machine in the room, and the soft linens. The air conditioning is more than sufficient to keep the room and the lobby areas cool. It also has a nice (but small) workout area with modern exercise machines. The staff in the lobby were friendly, attentive and professional. There is a nice selection of restaurants nearby.

The one bad thing - and I do have to mention it for this review to be complete - was that one of the towels was clean but had an unfortunate stain on it. It had clearly been washed but should not have been put out to reuse. I noticed it before I used it and just put the towel on the floor. Bottom line, despite the towel, I will go back and will look forward to returning here but will check the towels before using them. ;)

Adequate but a bit boring, the hotel has a new and old tower, with the elevator to the old being tiny (three people, no luggage, is about the limit)...the "free" continental breakfast they give Hilton Honors members is next to worthless, about the stingiest I've ever seen in a Hilton..For non-Honors members its like $8. They do allow you to upgrade to a "full" buffet breakfast for $6 more. The rooms are ok, though my view was of construction scaffolding right outside my window, not very attractive. The local area has every chain restaurant you can think of, so food is not an issue. SB doesnt have much in the way of good hotels, and this one, even though not that great, ranks among their best.
