I am exhausted. I just wrapped up 15 hours of driving from Brooklyn to Knoxville. I'm heading for Birmingham tomorrow. This is definitely a sweet hotel. Along with a 15th floor view of the parking lot I can see some skyline. I have a 32" Philips LCD at my disposal along with free wireless internet. The room is clean and the sheets soft. If I only had one of the local Yelp babes, I'd get my Barry White on.. The lady at the front desk is friendly and has comped three extra hours for checkout. All this for $99 on a Saturday night. I'm checking out the gym tomorrow.
UPDATE: The room heater is on the fritz and there are blemishes such as paint chips, torn wallpaper and discolored mirror frames abound. Regretfully, I must knock off a star.
It's a Hilton so the service and the amenities are definitely up to par. Much like the younger Hilton sister, it seems like this location is oft neglected.
The good thing about this is the price difference between here and neighboring motels/hotels really isn't that big. So it's surprisingly affordable and as a result well worth the price.
Of course I do hear the prices skyrocket when there's a big event/festival happening, as do all hotels anywhere else.
It's central to a ton of activities and all the action of Knoxville, it has full amenities, and the expected Hilton service (No, not the Paris kind).
